I've had such a complex life the past few years since 2000. In Aug 2000 my mom had a stroke, Apr 2001 my dad died. I went to college in Aug 2001 - had a lot of drama there. I was engaged in Dec 2002 for 6mths - then he left. I finished school in Aug 2004. In Nov 2004 I got married to someone else - separted from him Jan 2006 and he wants a divorce he's already got the papers written up but I haven't signed them. Those are just the highlights. Oh yea, I have a bachelors in business and can't get a good job. Right now I live with my mom and make $7/hr at a deadend job. Point is I'm tired of all the drama and "life" situations. For the past couple of years (even before my dad's death). I've wanted to die and still do. I think about it everyday and I fill like I've ran out of ways to cope with all this. I think I've been just pushing everything aside and not dealing with it. Now everything has built up so much I have no choice but to deal and I don't know what to do. Any comments?

Online Q&A discussion venues like this seem like the tabloids but with an interactive element that leaves us open not just to the answers but to the authors of those answers. It feels like it is the difference between sitting on a bus and just nodding politely to people as they come and go, and striking up a conversation with them.

I am very clear in my mind about it when I chat with other men - I am passing the time or sharing a hobby or swapping jokes, giving or receiving information - thoroughly harmless in the best sense of the word. When I chat with a woman, at some level there is a sexual awareness - usually but not always harmless. I feel like I am considering the possibility of a relationship, no matter how innocent it may be on the surface. And it is certainly more fun than talking with a man.

Is this exclusively an acquisitive/ conquistador/ lecherous/ predatory alpha male behavior, or do women stroll along the edge of this same fuzzy line?

I have liked this guy for about a year and we are good friends. All of our friends are mutual pretty much and most of them know that Im into him and kinda want us to hook up. The thing is that he'll stare at me a lot and then pull his friends off to talk & come back & stare some more. Some days he is so flirty people think we're dating and then other days he'll back off. Recently he started talking about a mystery girl that fits my profile exactly and then he asked my best friend if I liked him. She told him she didnt think so and he acted upset! No kids involved, & never were married. It was kind of like a high school dating thing, but I was the only one still in HS, he was 7 yrs. older than me...he was in the Navy, out of the year we were together, I was only WITH him for 2 months. Otherwise, he was like my best friend, while we were dating, we never even slept together, but we had an awesome friendship.

We decided that it wasnt working out since I was still in school and he was traveling the world..so we decided to just stay friends. Then I met my husband, and I told him in the very beginning stages of our relationship that there was a guy I had a past with that was still a part of my life, and if he couldnt accept it then he needed to go ahead and leave me. But always, he always felt like he was "competing" even though there is no competition.

Also, my best friend is my ex's sis..and my cousin is married to his cousin..so it isnt like I could ever not see him again if I wanted it to be that way.

I have this annoying lady next door, that complains every time I am at home about noise. Even if the noice is not loud , she complains, it is annoying, I cannot have any guests or do anything, she bangs on the wall or calls the manager. she is one of those lonely singles, who rarely goes out is overweight and does never have company. i on the other hand are the opposite.....

baby and the house. He pays the majority of the bills because I do not get PAID for the work I am doing. I do however still make money doing small jobs and pay my cell phone bill, groceries, gas etc. He is constantly making rude comments about how he is sick of paying for everything. How do I make him understand that he has a responsibility now to do just that? If he wants to stay home and take care of our son, I will gladly go to work. But he won't do that. What do I do?

I've been going out with my bf for over 5 years now and we are also engaged, I didnt think I could live without him, but lately I've been feeling differently about him, I am only 21 and he has been my only bf, I'll never have been out with anyone else if I marry him, and I cant help thinking we got engaged too early ( I was only 18) although we are not planning on getting married for a few years.
I've been thinking about talking 2 him about taking a break from our relationship, especially since I met another guy, (who I am just friends with), but we flirt and I feel something thats new and exciting,(I dont mean I really want to go out with) which its not like that anymore with my bf, & i cant help thinking it would be nice to have that with some1 again.
