Friends - May 2007

I just recieved a call from a friend, a very good friend, who i think basically called and put an end to our friendship.

Things have been awful with me and my husband. and she said that whenever she tried to talk to me about it I was snappy and shouted her down whenever she gave advice. I feel embarrased and ashamed because looking back she is right, I did.

I have text to say how sorry I am and that all I can think of was I was so caught up in the stress I just did not realise. Needless to say, she has not responded. What should I do now?

well my husband drives my friend home after me and her get out of work, she don't have her license and she asks for rides from us most of the time and it is out of our way we get out of work at 11 and she don't say thanks or offer anything. my husband works mornings so he told me to tell her that he thinks that shes taking advantage of us and she is soo mad now and shes telling a lot of people at our workplace, she was saying to me, when was the last time I ask you for a ride, ummm it been awhile because me my husband just had our vacation so we werent here....this girl got issues, she puts me down sometimes and everytime I cry for her

i no it is near exam time so every one will be a bit stressed but my friend seems too quiet around me, shes fine with everyone else and is quiet and puts me down making me seem a bad friend but im trying to help by being funny and kind but she just seems to either blank me or have a small go at me, im not going to talk to her about it coz i no it will go away after exams but i just want to no how i can still be her friend and not fall out with her during this period of time between exams coz we do have a laugh together

I'm an 18 year old male and I have this friend who I've known less than a year. When ever we talk It makes me think she likes me, but when I ask her, she says no, I don't know If she's afraid to tell me or what. If she doesn't really like me how do I get her to.
I can't stop thinking about her either. what should I do? should I tell her I like her, if so how do I do this the right way?

I thought we were friends but he just stopped talking to me. It's wierd because everytime I run into him (not like I'm trying to run into him on purpose...) he ignores me and flirts with some other girl. I don't really like him like that but I'm just curious as to why he keeps treating me like this!!! We are in the same class together and we are in the same activites together but it is wierd having similiar interest and nothing to talk about. Should I just tell him that i don't like him in that way or what should I do? I want to keep the peace, but it is hard!!!!

I have a friend and she and her spouse have a ten year old son who is a major brat. She defends the fact that he's a brat and gets mad if someone else thinks he is...kind of like "I'm the mother and I can tell you what to do but no one else can" kind of theory. Anyway, she'll jump down my throat if I have an opinion on his behavior, I've actually had to discipline him in front of his parents and there's been no reprocussion. My question is what right does she have to get mad if someone knows her son is a brat and says something nicely put "he may need to be careful" kind of thing?

Alright I have just met this guy and known him for no longer then a week, and ever since I have been running around. The first time he asked me for a favor i took his mother to the bank, to the gas station, and to Ingles just so his mom could get food and pay rent!!They live on the brink of a whole new city!! Then just yesterday I took them to the store again!!! Took him to play pool, picked up his friend, an went back to the store to pick up cotton candy for his mom. Now, yesterday the asked me for another favor, If I could help them take his sisters baby to the doctors office or DSS will come and take him. I have been run ragged, I haven't gotten a cent for gas money, and I don't want to play taxi anymore. I know I'll feel bad if I don't help them, but this is ridiculous!!! Nobody in there family drives except for there dad who works all day. Please help me!!!

I have find it so pointless to live. I felt like i am a burden to everyone around me. No one understands how I feel. Problems in life are drowning me. I know it is quite stupid for a teenager like me to think of death. But I really don't have the will to live anymore. :(

Would you have a long distance relationship with a 25 man whom still lived at home with his parents, works at a fitness gym as a personal trainer(for two years) but never has any money, but he's taken on a job as a drummer for a restaruant for extra money, hangs out on myspace all the time, has been at a junior college for four years and yet still isn't half way finished to getting his A.A. my very best friend is thinking about moving back to where her family is, halfway across the country, but i, of course want her to stay here. i ALSO don't want her to feel even more torn between her family and her friends...like i won't love her if she goes back or they won't love her if she stays here. would it be a good idea to make a pro/con list for her? i'd get together with her and do it but there's no way we can get together before she has to make her decision at the end of this weeks. would a pro/con list be too pushy?

Have any of you faught with a gangster? I mean, e.g. you were riding a bike and suddenly a so called gangster rides fast passes you and you fell, he stops and look and you yell, he comes near, you don't backup and ready for anything. Almost a fight starts but it won't go too long, people come and resolve the problems. Something like that? (College gangsters applicable to the question)
