NO!!! Because friends come and go in life...really. When your 35, I bet you only have a few real friends that you've known for 20 plus years, and your grades follow you forever.
You need good grades to get into good colleges, to get a secure job and retire in style.
Ask anyone over 35 (except for the uneducated rock stars) and they will say the same.

Sorry, but I know you may think i don't want to lose them or i need to spend time with them..... Grades can really do a toll on you....
Think about it will they be by your side 10 years from now... If not then don't sweat it.... If yes then you have nothing to worry about they'll understand that you have priorities after all if there really friends they should understand your studies are important!
Good Luck!
Friends will come and go but, what you have accomplished is yours forever!

If u have real friends than they would not get in the way of you getting good grades and will suport you to get good grades so if they try to bring your grades down then they are probably not really good friends, but I don't know exactly because I do not know the exact situation so go on what you think is right!!
GOOD LUCK!!

Is poverty better than life styles of the rich and famous ? Friends should be supportive enough to want to see you, and even help you to be the best you can be. If not, I would question their motives, or agendas. Your grades are a direct reflection on you, and your future to yourself, your family, your life. Unless, your friends with Bill Gates and get to access his bank account for pursuits of your life. Do the grades !!

Real friends don't ask if they are more important than something else in your life, because true friendship lies in knowing that you guys will always be there for each other, and he/she should also know that grades are important.
Grades shape your life.....especially in high school.
Your boss won't ask you how many people are on your messenger list.

Well it depends, good friends wont get in the way of your school work (grades and stuff) but the friends who gt in the way you might consider not hanging out with them until the summer.

NO
Most of the friends you have in school you will likely lose contact with soon after school. But bad grades can follow you for life. Don't ignore your friends, but make sure that they don't interfere with your future.

This is coming from someone who hates school. No. Friends
are not more important as grades. unless it's a best friend. then juggle both.
