Would you have a long distance relationship with a 25 man whom still lived at home with his parents, works at a fitness gym as a personal trainer(for two years) but never has any money, but he's taken on a job as a drummer for a restaruant for extra money, hangs out on myspace all the time, has been at a junior college for four years and yet still isn't half way finished to getting his A.A. Degree.I know it's totally up too me and I know that, but I have a degree, and I have money, but I don't see us really balancing each other .what do you think

It's not a matter of what you are and what he isn't, What you have and what he doesn't have. Although finances would really be an issue in a relationship especially married life.

If you love him then why don't give the guy a benefit of the doubt. He is probably the way he is right now because he needed a woman (who knows if it could be you) to inspire him to have a direction and set goals in life. And if he loves you, he'll change. Doesn't happen overnight. It will take too much patience...

If you think you're in for that, then go ahead and stay with him.

Though i would suggest that before you throw your stones at him, check your priorities too before dumping this guy because to me your questions were all of money issues. It doesn't seem that you love him as much.

sorry to put it this way drea but.......he seems like a serious loozer dude! maybe im wrong, but he doesn't seem to have any goals in life... he probably goes to community college for the student loans and financial aid, i know MANY people like that.

i think that there isn't too much hope in your relationship. that is unless you want a man that doesn't want anything out of life... i mean good grief, what guy 25 still lives at home with momma??

i would definately leave this guy in the dust and get with someone on my level financially, mentally, and get with someone that wants something out of life.. because it shoooooooowl aint him......lol

Have you told him how you felt? Give him some realistic goals that would prove to you that he is going to get off his buttock in the very near future. If he can't meet them, dump him.

Follow your instincts. You know deep down that this guy will never be what you want, or you would not be questioning your decision. Only you know what will make you happy. Follow your feelings.

maybe you could be in love now, but no offense...i highly doubt the relationship will make it. you are two different people with different goals. sounds like you will succeed and he wont
