I just got a call from an old friend who told me that a mutual old friend of ours from High School has died in a car accident.She was our age(41),and leaves a daughter and three sons behind.I also have a daughter and three sons.I am in shock right now.

I have known my friend for 5 years now. We are almost like best friends (both of us female, so it's not a dating type thing). She and I have been talking online and on the phone for 5 years and we are planning on meeting soon. She's not really nervous but I'm VERY nervous because I am not confident about the way I look. We've shared pictures with eachother but I've only sent ones that I felt ok sending. Once we hang out in person there's no way to hide certain things. I've gained weight since the last pictures she's seen of me and I'm scared and embarrassed.

Any advice on feeling better meeting in person?

Tanya and i have been friends since highschool, i'm in my 30s know so it's been a while,
we used to do everything together, even had a threesome years ago. So my mom died just a little over a year ago, and my dad has been dating this girl
that i think seemed really fast, well she is a sneaky ***** kinda way and really high mantinece, like my dad was gonna take us out to dinner and she didn't like any of the places he sugested
and she doesn't really talk to us shes just really quiet
but me and my siblings all don't like her and she's really just ahh

well next month she is moving in, again way too fast and i've told my dad i thought it was too fast but he didn't listen
her son is moving in that i've never met before and her dog

She seems to just be blowing me off a lot lately.
I mean this week we were talking about hanging out this weekend and how her sister got a hotel room and she was throughing a party. . .
so last night i called her and asked what was goin on, she was like i'll call you later and tell you the plans and such, and she never called but invited someone else, and then today i called and asked if she wanted to hang and she said that she already made plans

I think my friend is doing crack or something. She has changed and never wants to do anything anymore. She hardly ever sleeps, you can tell just by looking at her that she doesn't sleep. She has lost a lot of weight in the last couple of months. She use to be a bit overweight and now she is extremely skinny. She also won't anyone go into her apartment anymore. It use to be the hang-out place for everyone but now she won't let anyone up there, not ever her parents or siblings. Her sister told me she went to her place the other day and she flipped out on her when she went over there. She told me she has her reasons for not wanting people in her apartment and everyone should mind their own busniess and F-off.
So could she be on drugs and of so what ones? I know she use to smoke pot once and a while but it was rare. Then three months ago her boyfriend cheated on her then dumped her.

Its been a very long time since i felt like this. I am always being used by friends and people i know. I dont no what to do. I feel left out and sometimes really want to break out. Ok, I've had a crush on this guy for a while now. I didn't tell my best friend, which may have been a mistake. A few weeks after I start liking him, she starts liking him. I can't tell her or she'll get mad, or depressed. So when shes around him, she acts REALLY obnoxious and makes fun of me. She tells dumb jokes that no one thinks are funny and then if he does laugh, it hurts to see them talking or even interacting of any kind. I really like him, and it seems like he likes me as a friend. There could be more if my friend wasnt in the way. I know this sounds shallow.

So, what do I do, do I try and stop liking him so my friend can have him, or do I tell my friend, OR should I tell him?
