If you want to go out with someone of this weight you go out with them. I understand this is a question and answers site but in this case the opinion of others shouldn't be involved here. Sounds like you are more worried about the opinion of others and if you can't overcome that then it makes you a shallow person indeed. You maybe the best looking guy on the planet but if everyone fell for the same person there would be no mating going on and for all you know someone maybe posting a question about a certain flaw they think you have got and wondering if others think she should date you. I know that's a bit extreme but I am only trying to show you that beauty is certainly only skin deep. You say (taking it you are actually referring to someone) this person makes you smile, laugh and is outgoing. Not often you get all that in a person. You may get the perfect sex bomshell but if she bores you stiff the effect of having something to show off would soon wear thin. I think you should follow your heart and date this person but if you are thinking of hiding her away and taking her places where your friends won't be forget it, not fair to the girl and your loss!

I'm not a guy, but I have to tell you this. I had a male friend (he passed away) who would ONLY date large women. He was average weight. His philosophy was "they keep you warm in the winter and shade you in the summer". He also maintained that larger women treat their guys BETTER, because they feared the "competition" could move in at any second. The insecurity about their weight kept them dedicated to keeping their man happy - and Jerry (my male friend) LOVED every minute of it!!!
I myself, have always been overweight. The men I have always attracted were above average intelligence, good looking, and mature thinking. Most had been seriously burned at least once by girls above average looking. They learned the hard way that good looks and a cutesy figure does not guarantee happiness. Maybe guys like you need to pick the girls that impress your "buds" and get burned to a crisp once or twice before you realize the girls with some extra padding really ARE different - they have PERSONALITY, not stuck on themselves, are less judgmental, are not game players, and dedicated to pleasing!!! You need to concern yourself more with a girls INNER beauty, not her outward appearance. Seems you KNOW this girl would be a great girlfriend, but your immature arrogance as far as what others might say is getting the best of you. That's a shame dude.

what is it with guys that are so afraid with larger women? ok, so she's larger... but she has *i'm sure* intelligence, humor, probably a good, well rounded personality, and most likely, a good cook.
frankly, if your "friends" give you a hard time because you're with a real woman who has what you want, but isn't the body style THEY want, than leave your friends... a true friend would be happy for the happiness their friend has from the relationship.
*p.s. if the looks are really that big of an issue, maybe into the relationship, go with long walks with her through a park. some FUN activities outdoors, maybe she might enjoy the activity and find a fun excersise. who knows?*

260 lbs Probably no. It's not the weight but I don't find someone who lets themself go that much attractive. If you let yourself get that heavy without doing something about it then there's an underlying problem that needs sorting before I could find said person attractive. But then if she used to be 300 lbs and had dropped down to 260 recently and was still trying to be healthier then that would impress me a whole lot.
Someone who lives on takeaway and piles it on without caring about themselves is a big no no for me

yes and no, yes but I'd get her to lose some of the weight (although not too much because I love curvy girls). You see 260 lbs is asking for serious health problems and therefore what point is there being with someone that you couldn't spend the next 50 or so years with because you know they'll probably die of heart attack or something!!!

So what your asking is, do fat people, homely people, something with something "wrong" with them deserve love, respect and affection?
Yes. We are none of us perfect...even the Barbie Doll babes will get old, wrinkled and grey-haired...and for them, every wrinkle is a tragedy.
I'd rather have a mate that made me smile than a selfish, image obssessed dolly bird any day of the week.
And if she finds true caring in your relationship, the weight may go, because she will no longer need to comfort her aching empty heart with food.

Some would and some wouldnt - it depends on the person and what they like. Some people like sticks and others are chubby chasers. I prefer a thinner girl but it would depend on the person. And no offence but I am guessing ur talking about urself in the question. Also why do you say perverts???

260 lbs?
To be very frank, I would be only nice "friends" with her I wouldn't date her as in a relationship. Just because she's obese doesn't prevent her from enjoying my company whenever she needs - I'd treat her like a best buddy if our tastes match, our hobbies are same and so on.

You do not get to 260 without eating a lot of food, you can lose the weight if you really want to.
