i'm in grade 10 and have been in canada since the last 2 yrz... i managed to make friends but i want to make gud friend... when i'm talking to a person alone itz kool but sometimez i end up getting used by other ppl 'coz i 'm smart (academicallly) and ppl just talk 2 me b'coz they want my work... in grade 10 what i have seen is that most of the guyz end up talking about vulgar stuff.. i know itz natural but i just don't like to talk about it soo if i'm alone wid my frnd itz kool and i can talk about stuff but whenever i'm in a group the conversation ends up to some vulgar topic... sooo yea i just stay out of the conversation and end up alone... any ideaz how do i find new friendz... i don't really want to do anything which involves money...

Just asking, is a popular girl someone who wears to much make- up and flirts with every guy she passes and thinks everyones in love with her when everyone behiend her back says "I hate her shes such a slut.". Or is somone who sits in a larger group, who doesn't wear so much make up that it makes them look like some whore, everyone is friends with each other, and no one bitches about you because you don't piss anyone off.

I noticed when I was broke all the time, (not because I didn't have a job but because of circumstances beyond my control that caused me to have less money in my pocket, you could say I was living check-to-check at times). I seem to have lots of friends who could relate to me being broke and we got along just fine.
When I got a new job paying me triple salary now than before, I found myself having many options on what I wanted to buy than before. I tell my friends about my blessings and they seem to get a little jealous at times, to the point that I dont like hanging around them anymore because they think that since I make more money, I should foot the bill on everything. You see, they're still broke and im get this feeling that they think im bragging about my good fortune but really im just happy that I had the chance to do better for myself. I try to not let it bother me that they're acting funny towards me but it does bother me because I don't understand, they should be happy 4 me.

So i have been feeling lonely lately due to my obsession with schoolwork and always staying home alone. I had an emotional brakedown and had been told that i need to spend time with people and all that crap.

For the past weeks ive been hanging with friends and all, but i have this one close friend that i feel very attached to like a brother. But i feel like im attached too much, i believe its because of my loneliness, but what should i do? see a psychologist?

i play basketball and i have a friend in the grade ahead of me that also play's but we became friends during basketball season well we were friends before but not really good friends and now that we hang out at practice we tell eachother stuff and i don know what will happen after basketball season do u think we will still be friends and i dont go over to her house and stuff we only hang out at school

I've only met her a handful of times, but when we hang out she touches my shoulder, complements my clothes, told me I looked good in a shirt one time, complemented my shoes, would give me random smiles from a distance and one time I noticed when we all did some pregame shots before going out to a club she gave me a much larger shot glass than our two other friends.

I think she's cute as hell, but would never try anything because im not like that. I do remember a year before I was flirting with her and she told me she was interested in someone else (my friend--before I knew they were an item) but that I was fun. She even put her New Year's necklace on me.

What does all this mean? BTW, when we talk, her bf, a good guy, looks at us kind of serious. Her personality speaks of "natural flirt", she is a nice girl and all, but what would you say this is? Does she like me or is this overanalyzing?

BTW, I saw her last night and we didn't seem to be talking as much as usual. I noticed he was around her more and I generally did not see her as much. There weren't even that many people over at the party I was at.

Plus, the guy was also watching me talk to my friend's fiance'. Fiance! I wasn't even flirting with her, just having a normal convo....That she started. WHat's the deal here?

For years we have had an open door policy on our house. When the kids and their friends came over, most of them would just walk in. Now the kids are grown and have moved out, we would like them and their friends to knock before coming in the house. It has gotten so bad that now we lock the door, unless we know they are coming. Have explained that when I am not expecting someone, dont appreciate someone just walking in unannounced. My daughter understands, but am having a problem with the others. How would you handle this situation? Also, are we wrong to expect some privacy and respect?

i went to my boyfriends house for the first time this past sunday to meet his mom and sister and her friend who is practically related to them because he hangs out there so much. i got there and i was nice and polite and talked some, but soon, and for most of the night, i hardly said a word, quiet as a mouse. Now, thats not how i usually am at all, but i was really nervous and didnt want to make a bad impression, so i was really quiet!! i feel like ive ruined everything =[ how horrible is this and please say i'm not the only one!

I have a friend. and we've been friends now since we were in like the 4th grade. We got very close (as friends, nothing else) over the years. we would call and talk to each other and hang out and such often. When we got into middle school, we went to different schools. but after spending an entire summer together, it didn't effect our friendship. By 7th grade, his mom changed him into the same school as me and we went to the same school for about a year and a half. Because in the middle of 8th grade i changed schools. That really messed me up because i had made a nice little group of friends. and after changing schools, i lost contact with most of them. But not this one guy. We're at absolutely different schools now, and when he was in like the 9th grade he would call me pretty much every day. Then at the begining of his 10th grade year that changed to about 3x's a week. that was ok with me, because i knew we both had a lot of work to do. Now though, he has just stopped calling!

There is some picture of India. It’s a very nice place to live but not for long time.
After 4/5 days everybody feels bore. Peoples usually are very good.
Winter is the best season to stay there. I bring all papers from Kerala.

I have 3 close friends & a couple of aquaintances who recently had babies. None of the pregnancies were planned. They were all "accidents". None of them are married. In fact, a few of their boyfriends didn't propose until after they got pregnant! All have started asking me when I'm going to have a baby. I am single! I have no intentions of having a baby at this point in my life & I'm sick of them always asking me that question. They've even said "we'll have to find you a man". Like I have no life because I'm single & childless. It's not like their's were planned. It happened & now they've adjusted their lives but they make it seem like it's so wonderful & anyone who doesn't have a baby is missing out on something. I'm starting to feel like they've formed their own little group & I won't be part of it until I have a baby too. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, did you open up to your friends about how you feel? Any suggestions on what I should say when they bring up the subject?

I have this friend, I call him sometimes and I'd say he probably answers his phone 1 out of 20 times I call. He is not busy trust me, he calls his gf or his parents 900 times a day for no reason at all. I just find it really annnoying, you can't ever call up and say hey you wanna do something this day or anything short cause he doesnt return the calls until at least like 5 days later. Anyone else have the same problem?

My 15 yr old best friend for 12 yrs lied on me about 7 months ago(VERY BAD lie, so bad that her mom doesnt trust me anymore and I was like her 2nd daughter(lied to her parents and mine)) and I still havent forgave her, I've tried but it keeps coming back to me. But she thinks we are back friends like we used to be(which were NOT). What if she told you today that she was engaged to a boy she met maybe 5 months ago. Hes 19 now. My opinon shes to young and hes to old and that haven't known each other long enough to make such a commitment. What would you do she expects me to be her bridesmaid she asked me but I said I would have to ask MY MOM(which doesnt agree with none of this but doesnt mind if I am in the wedding). PLEASE PLEASE I need advice please. I dont want to hurt her I also dont want to be going overboard. PLEASE HELP ME WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN MY SITUATION?????

Over the summer my parents have to work so i have to go to a daycare and theres this guy three years younger than me and all my friend know he likes me because he looks at me all the time and he follows me to. The weird part is hes in elementry school and im in intermeadiat school and i kinda like him. Hes cute and funny but hes younger than me=(. Is it ok to like him? PLSE TELL ME!
