I noticed when I was broke all the time, (not because I didn't have a job but because of circumstances beyond my control that caused me to have less money in my pocket, you could say I was living check-to-check at times). I seem to have lots of friends who could relate to me being broke and we got along just fine.
When I got a new job paying me triple salary now than before, I found myself having many options on what I wanted to buy than before. I tell my friends about my blessings and they seem to get a little jealous at times, to the point that I dont like hanging around them anymore because they think that since I make more money, I should foot the bill on everything. You see, they're still broke and im get this feeling that they think im bragging about my good fortune but really im just happy that I had the chance to do better for myself. I try to not let it bother me that they're acting funny towards me but it does bother me because I don't understand, they should be happy 4 me.

People get jealous of their friends, when their friends succeed. Rather than being happy for you. Basically, they get jealous, because you went out and made something happen in your life for success to happen! and they are still sitting in the mud. You know misery loves company. You just happened to remove yourself from that broke misery.
Congratulations!
Just becareful that you do not talk or brag too much, as a lot of people cannot accept others successes.

Money is a hot issue and always an issue, can change someone personality and outlook in life. Some are tend to jelous of the luck you have and that is because they put money a real issue in your reltionship with them. thats all i can say.
