Your friend calls you at 12 and asks if you can come over, and you say yea probably, i'll call you back in about an hour.

Then at 1 your other friends have something really fun planned out, and just tell you about it at 1.

Would you ditch the 12:00 friend?

you don't really want to go to the 12:00 friend's, but is an old friend, while the 1:00 friends are newer and less loyal but have something real fun planned out as opposed to the 12:00 one where you will be bored.

Well, I think the right thing to do is to call your friend back as you told them you would. Your newer less loyal friends are going to have to understand that you already made plans. Loyalty is hard to find, and if you ditch your old pal you are showing them you aren't the loyal friend that they thought they had. Things don't have to be boring with your old pal....when you call them back suggest getting out of the house and doing something fun together. If you plan to keep your loyal friend treat them as you want to be treated. It's not right to leave your friend hanging...I would suggest doing the right thing, you'll feel much better.

Well, you never want to ditch a friend...

Maybe ask your 1 friends if your 12 friend can come with? If it's not possible, or too awkward to ask, then you should probably keep true to your 12 friend. S/he did ask first, and ditching them could cause a sore spot in your relationship.

May not be as fun, but friendship is all about loyalty, right?

Why not call the 12 friend and ask them to join you with the 1 friends? That way everybody wins... LOL...
