this one girl who i've hated since the sixth grade wants to be my friend now and i think its really rather funny but what should i do?

is this guy using me and being my friend just because i'm smart and get good grades?
i'm not sure if he is or not, but here are some examples of stuff that he said to me.
one time when we were about to go to the library we could work on something and then he said, "will you sit with me in library...because i dont know what an adverb is."
i didn't know if he really wanted to know or was just saying that because he was too embarassed to flat out ask me...
but then there are other times when im not sure if hes really my friend or just using me as a backup.
like sometimes when i talk to him and he's around other people he ignores me and talks to them.
also when i get annoyed at him he never even cares about my feelings or how i might feel about the way he acted towards me
and also he just sometimes is acting really jerky, sometimes really nice.
im just not sure...
so is he using me as a friend because i'm smart and also using me as a backup friend???

what would you do if someone you care about very much has been lying to you, because you set them up, but if you tell them then they will know you set them up, or tested them.... Do you just take the knowledge and do with it what you need to or tell them you set them up and they lied and you now know about it????

Ok my best friend nd my other best friend [[a boy nd a girl]] like each other. But my best friend whos a girl has a bf nd the boy best friend wants to go out with her. I dont feel comfortable with them going out i mean im both their best friends and Immm just sooooo uncomfortable if they go out...again. Idk, maybe i still having feelings for they guy best friend? there's this guy named jack and he's like my best friend, but just today he acted like a total jerk towards me. i said, "i have some information to tell you." and then says "I don't care about your stupid information." but then i told him and then he looked at me like a i was totally stupid and said in a snotty voice, "and why would i care?"
and i said, "why are you such a jerk, jack?" and walked away. and then later when i was just saying something about how one of his friends asked out another girl and she said no, jack was all "so? what about it?" and rolled his eyes and walked away.
he has already acted like this before except even jerkier and i stayed amd at him for a couple of weeks but then i decided to let it go and stop being mad.
should i just let go his sudden jerkiness or be amd? should i still be his friend?

p.s. i know hes not in a relationship and he isnt haing any family problems.

what if i decided not go stop for gas before I went to work? If I hadn't, I wouldn't have been smashed into while looking for a parking spot. If that hadn't of happened, I wouldn't have had a rental car for 3 weeks which was 4x4 and my car isn't. So I would never have decided to take the car off roading that monday night. Then of course, I wouldn't have been stopped by the police at the entrance of the trail. So, by not stopping for gas, I wouldn't have a DWI on my record. Since I do have one, I can only drive to/from work/school. So I would have been able to drive to my friends on another monday night. If I had gone there, a huge huge fight could have been avoided and we would still be friends now. And if it was the case where my ex-best-friend didn't hate me now, I would be able to still see his dog. I love this dog. and I'm very sad today because i miss him. If I had only had enough gas in my car to make it to work, I'd be a very different person today. That's chaotic!

alright,
my friend has this girlfriend who is very annoying. and she made my friend into a sort of snob. before he used to be a pretty nice guy, but now he acts like he is better than everyone.

I really dont like my friend's girlfriend at all. she forces her presence all the time, and is obnoxius. like today, when i saw her at my dorm room (my friend is one of my room mates), i opened the door, and in an obviously kidding tone i asked "What are you here for?" and in a snide, bitchy tone she said under her breath "What do you think?" almost like saying "What do you think, idiot?"

And she also made him so whipped. he does everything she asks without even a question.

should i tell my friend how i honestly feel about her? or should i just let nature take it's course?

I have a co-worker that put me in a very unethical and unprofessional position today. She is not only my co-worker, but also a friend outside of work. The situation that she put me in could have gotten me fired and after a long, & sad day, I decided that I needed to inform my manager. I guess my question is, what would you have done? Again, the situation goes against a contract that she signed as well as my companies code of ethics. I feel terrible because she is my friend, but also feel like I had to cover my ***....

I feel alone in life, because I live in a different city now from all my friends. And I have no family to speak of. I try to make new friends.

But I feel like I judge too much, based on looks, education level, social and financial status. I know this is wrong, but how can I get over this? I really need friends in my life right now, and it's hard to make new ones.
