there's this guy named jack and he's like my best friend, but just today he acted like a total jerk towards me. i said, "i have some information to tell you." and then says "I don't care about your stupid information." but then i told him and then he looked at me like a i was totally stupid and said in a snotty voice, "and why would i care?"
and i said, "why are you such a jerk, jack?" and walked away. and then later when i was just saying something about how one of his friends asked out another girl and she said no, jack was all "so? what about it?" and rolled his eyes and walked away.
he has already acted like this before except even jerkier and i stayed amd at him for a couple of weeks but then i decided to let it go and stop being mad.
should i just let go his sudden jerkiness or be amd? should i still be his friend?
p.s. i know hes not in a relationship and he isnt haing any family problems.

I would seriously consider this friendship.......friends don't treat each other like that. No excuse for it........let him be a jerk to someone else.

I think thst you should find out why hes acting like this but i think that hes bypolar which means that your mood will be one way for a period and then change to another mood.but also maybe hes just playn games with you(not in the good way)or is an asshole.

if he's only acting like a jerk to you it could mean he has a crush on you and just trying to impress you. if not then he must be going through some stressful times, try to ask his parents or other people if he's going through anything to make him act like that.

I think maybe he's in love. That might actually be a good reason if you think about it. pretend he's liked you all his life, but you never show signs of liking him back. Just somethink to put some thought into. Good luck.
