If someone doesn't talk to you, do you still consider them a friend? Or a close friend? How much work should it take to maintain a friendship?

A friendship is just like any other relationship in life. It takes a lot of work to keep it healthy. You should end a friendship if :
a) They don't respond to any attemps to rekindle your friendship
b) They have a negitive outlook on things
c) They don't allow you to be yourself
Hope this helps.

A friendship shouldn't take work. People bond due to common interest, mutual admiration and respect for one another. Sharing time enjoying recreation or working towards a common goal strengthen bonds. Being able to openly express thoughts and opinions without being judged or ridiculed is also a bonding experience.
