I've always wanted to try snowboarding, and have my chance this weekend. My friends are comming but they cannot afford the snowboard/ski rental fee. I've offered to help them pay for the rentals if money is really and issue, but they say they do not want to be in debt with me.Should I just go it...alone...All by myself on a mountain all day with no idea what the hell I'm doing. Or just sit in the lodge with my friends?

My best friend and I are on maternity leave. My friend has decided that she only wants to be a homemaker now and no longer wants to work outside of the home. Her husband earns enough to support the family well on his income alone. My other friends make fun of her now behind her back and say that she is a loser for not wanting more. I am only worried that if he leaves her, which I doubt highly, that she will be in a bad way. What should I advise her, what should I tell our friends who make fun of her?.

I just moved out of my good friend "Rose's" house because her husband "Eric" has hit on me so many times I can't keep count, even though I've threatened to tell "Rose" and avoided him when he was home (he's a long haul truck driver that is gone 2-3 weeks a month) he'd find a way. Finally I packed my bags and moved out. Rose keeps asking me why and I've hurt her feeling because we were helping each other with the living arrangements. What do I say to her? They have been married for almost 15 years with 4 children ages 12-3 years old. I don't want to break up a family or worst have my friend not believe me.

I am a somehow out-going person, and I don't have an issue with approaching strangers and making them my friends, but I have a problem with keeping friends... I have so many people in my life that I don't talk to anymore, is there something wrong with me? I wonder! How do I keep friends?!

She's been my BFF since BIRTH! on Saturday, we got in a HUGE fight! this is what happened:
we were gunna have a sleepover, and first we were guinna go over to her house and work on my tech homework. and her boyfriend was gunna help us. When I get there, everything is fine, then they got in a fight, and it was REALLY awkward for me. but then they made up.. then later, they had to return a movie. but it was snowing like Crazy, so my mom was gunna drive us, but there was only enough room for one person. so they told me to go, I was like fine w.e. so I'm about to go, and then my friend says shes gunna go to, and i say no, cause then her b.f will get mad again, cause he'll be left alone at her house with her step dad, who DOESNT LIKE HIM! she says it doensnt matter cause he was sleeping over with us! and we are arguing for a while, cause it dont want more awkward-ness, she she turns and says "Jaime is pissing me off" and then didnt expect me to be mad.is it okay that i'm mad? what do I do?

My best friend in the whole world forgot my birthday. i was crushed because i told her over and over again that my birthday was coming. she said i know i know. and then here comes my birthday and she forgot. should i forgive and forget because ppl do forget things but not things like this. i remembered her birthday and bought her soo many things for her birthday and i dont even get a lousy happy birthday ashley!! that is all i really wanted. We have been friends for years but only good friends for months. Lately, we have become very close friends. I am a guy, and she is a girl. I told her four times over the last year that I like her a whole lot but only want a friendship. She said she values our friendship and wanted the same. She hoped our friendship would grow even after what I said, so it did continually until now we are closest friends! I tried to tell her that I cannot be a closer friend without my feelings growing, but she continues to get closer. WHAT THE HECK DOES SHE WANT??? I am going nuts, and I love her now!!!

I have been in my new job for a month and I love it - I've made some really good friends and it's all going great. In July, we are all going to the Races - posh meal, a box at the final furlong, free booze, money to bet with, all on the company. The only problem is, on the same day, there's a big reunion get together at my old college, which I'd really love to go to. I can't decide which one to do - please help me decide!!

I've given this girl in my school a valentines card via my a teacher when she was on work experience and she is curious to find out who i am but i dont actually know her but i have fancied her for about 4 years now and i want to be her friend. What should be my next safe move? I gave her a card saying "I've known you this long" (long quite small text size on the front of the card); inside the card it says but i like you this much (much cover bothe sides of the inside. All i put in the card was "To so and so" and i put a written letter inside the card just saying that i would have came to the place were she was working and give her the card and chocalate but i dont know were it is and would probably get lost. She was working in a nursery and there arent many nursery's around with that name and i used to go to another one; so i mentioned that. I also said that i hope she isnt allergic to choc and gave her my email addy but, i dont think she has interent and she cant do it at school.

Well....high school happened a looooooong time ago for me, since this is my 2nd year at medical school. However, yesterday I was digging through my closet and I found my high school yearbook....and it brought back so many memories.

I remember my friends and I being the popular crowd. I was the prom queen my senior year of high school. I realized last night, that we all drifted away from each other.....my friends and I went to different colleges, and after I graduated I went on to medical school.

I'm curious, do any of you still remain close with your high school friends?

we have been friends for 9 years but we have gone in two different ways in life, she parties and has a lot of guy friends and a lot of drama. I stay home and have a good man who takes care of me, i expecting my first child. she already has a child who is horribly spoiled, i can't stand the way he acts around her, he acts differently around me because i don't allow it. She makes a lot of bad decisions and ask for advice then does the opposite. we haven't talk in about 3 weeks and we only talked then because she asked me to watch her child while she went to work because no one else wouldn't. before that maybe 2 weeks no talkin. is our friendship over?

There is this kid ive known for six years, I'm going to call him Jack. When i first met him, he was really nice and was my good friend (this was in elementary school). When we got to middle school he started losing weight and he stopped being my friend. he thinks he's "too cool for me". At the beginning of this year (8th), there were a lot of new guys in my class. I became friends with them pretty quickly and i was happy then. Later in the year, Jack started to become friends with them. It seems that all of his friends never like me very much. He turned all of my guy friends against me! They say a lot of mean things about me and my friends behind my back, and one of them stuck his middle finger at me three times yesterday(he used to be the nicest one!). How can i stop all of this!? I am really sad and disappointed now, and i don't know what to do! Please don't tell me to tell a teacher or adult, because that will just make it worse! they'll find out i told and then be even meaner!

I lived on Oriole Way and was in kindergarten or 1st grade, she was in my class. Probably back in 71. I never forgot her but I was mean to her. I just wanted to apologize for being so mean. She was the prettiest girl in class and the memory of her has remained with me ever since. The school was Ascarate elementary. I remember she almost always wore dresses. Anyway, you don't have to be crude. What goes around comes around.
