However, very recently, she stopped replying to your text message. It is after you wrote in your message: I regard one thanks as enough' when she said thanks to you two times.

What may the termination of her reply mean?

You rarely talk to her personally because you are too shy. You are friend with her.

Divorce 5 years ago cost me a lot of friends cos most of our friends were couples and the women sided with her and the guys kinda played ball with them. This left me 2 good friends but one is so far away i just see him once a month.I'm a 43 year old guy in the UK with no ties, disposable income and time to put into new friendships but am struggling to figure out how to make more guy friends! Have lots of female friends but they don't offer the kind of friendship I'd like to have. Help!!!

my friend has asked me to go skiing with them however they are a heavy snorer and i will be sharing a room with them! the last holiday we went on was so unbearable that i spent the week sleeping in the car that we had hired to get aroud whilst they got the guest house! i want to go skiing but cant face the snoring! do i check myself into seperate accomodation and run the risk of offending them or looking unsociable!

Everytime my friend and I are chatting on yahoo messenger, it starts off nicely by her giving me quick replies AT FIRST. When we've been on after ten minutes or so, I'll type something in and it will take her like 10 minutes to give me a reply. I will ask her if she is busy and she'll act like she wants to keep talking and then it might take 10 to 15 mins for her to respond. Usually, I try not to be rude and just keep saying 'u there?', she replies 'yea' five mins later, and it will just go on like this for hours. She won't even tell me when she leaves sometimes. I've put up with this for a long time, but last night was it. I asked her what she was doing. She's like, 'I'm talking to my boyfriend on the phone', for this ENTIRE 15 mins I'm sitting here waiting for a reply. I finally I harshly snapped 'You're being rude, I'm sick of it, I'm always dealing with it, etc.' She was really apologetic and super nice, but I feel so guilty. We've never fought before. Hi everyone, I need a little advice. I made a resolution this year that I'm trying to fulfil. I am a 23 year old female who is a chat room junkie. My problem is not so much that I am addicted to the internet, but that the internet is pretty much my only link to the outside world, and without it I might go days or weeks without actually having a conversation with anyone. I am extreamly shy and have a real fear of rejection and find it dificult to trust others. I don't like, trying new things, being in unfamiliar areas, in public or crowded places and have never gone to a party, club, bar or even the movies in my life. Perhaps this could be the result of having been kept isolated from the world until I was about 16. (I never went to school, I was thought at home) I want this to be the year I have a "real" freind for the first time. Thank you for any advice you can give, I don't want to live like this forever.

This girl at work was trying to break up me and my wife, I was clearly not interested distpite telling her, so instead of going to my boss I fixed her up with my friend. I recently after 15 years stopped talking to him because his drug use got out of hand: he stole, he was irrational, and violent to me. I don't know if he is clean or not, I no longer trust him, and I want to steer clear of her to keep my job and my personal life. They are acting like i'm the immature one dispite my rational explanation why I don't want to be friends. am I being stubborn and unforgiving?

Alright, I'm a guy and all that right. Anyways here is the situation.
My best friend is J (fake name). We sort of have this thing going where all our friends come to us with various sorts of emo/drama problems. But for our own we go to eachother. We also have alot of morals, beliefs, things we do that are the same. It's like we're somewhat brothers even though we're very different. We also joke around but are smexiness and give eachother random friend hugs and such. We're both the fighter sort of guy and have gotten ina few brawls where we had eachother's backs when fighting alot of other guys. Since we both are well trained we usually take care of business.

Now also I was raped by a 6th grade friend plus his sister and her friend when I was in third. So I dont have many guy friends because I'm very touchy about trust. I am more trustful of girls than guys most of the time. I never expected to act this way w/ a guy though.

Is this wierd to be this close with a friend?

I have a friend that will call me multiple times a day (10+), then just show up at my house and not leave. She doesn't work, is always eating my food and asking to borrow money. I have children to support and cannot afford to take care of her too. She is starting to get on my last nerve.

I am a 24 year old well educated female who had a best friend from my freshman year of college. We were part of an organization and over the years became very close. Both of us experienced ups and downs with family and relationships but shared a similar faith. Therefore, I felt we really had a solid friendship to the point I considered her like a sister.

About 2 years ago she started dating a new guy and we both left for grad school. We are both back in the same city now finishing our degrees and both have very serious relationships. After returning from being away in mid Jan she has distanced herself from me the past month and won't return any of my calls, emails, etc. Today she sent me an email saying she has changed, our friendship changed, and her focus is school and her boyfriend and she can no longer offer me what it needs to be a good friend. She said I did nothing wrong, still this kills me to the core, and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions on what to do?
