he drank alot and could be a selfish bugger but the last time we went out we had a good day together, i cannot believe it what a waste he was goodlooking intelliegent, what did he do that for but drank alot at times its sad,

Well he died doing what he enjoyed!! Alcoholism is a t**my dad and a few friends are alcoholics and it's very difficult to find yourself having to sit by and watch them pickle their liver.You feel angry,and annoyed that people with high intelligence levels cant see what they're doing to themselves.At least you managed to have some time & fun with him,remember him fondly and let him rest in the peace he obviously need.Sorry for your loss!!

Sorry to hear about your friend, at least you can remember your last time together with fondness. A lot of us drink too much, it's life, it's just a same your friend had to die.

remember him fondly and be thankful for the good times,he is away from his demons now and will be at peace.and remeber that alcoholism is an illness not a lifestyle,no one ever chooses too live there life that way,it just takes over.sorry for your loss xx
