buy some breathe right strips and suggest he uses them. tell him you use them and get a great nights sleep and you'd like to know what he thinks of them or check into separate rooms is the other option. i have some unused ear plugs (used for motor bike helmets) if you give me your address i'll send you them? lol

You gotta come clean here and let them know why you have reservations. There are tons of aids on the market now to help with snoring - I should know I sleep with a snorer. You can't have a sleepless holiday, you will end up arguing. They must remember that you slept in the car last time and why. Fess up mate.

That's not an easy situation. I recommend you to use a method I used successfully before. Go on holiday with your friend, and at night, wait till he is asleep (when the snoring begins). Then quietly sneak out of the room with your mobile, a blanket and a pillow, and look for a place on the stairs, outside the door, etc. to sleep. Set your mobile to a little earlier than usual, volume low, and put it next to your head. You get up early in the morning, sneak back, lie on your bed and your friend won't notice anything.

Get your own place. You will be happier, and will not ruin a friendship. Tell the snorer that you cant sleep with the snoring. I am sure he knows that he snores, and would not be offended. Go and have fun.

My husband snores so badly, I found that using earplugs solves the problem. Go to the drug store, and buy the soft foam kind, they are so comfortable, you don't even know you have them in. Does the trick, and you will get a great night sleep. Have a happy trip, and don't worry about a thing!

Just be honest with them. Make a joke out of it, say that there snoring is really bad and that your up for the holiday but you may have to take the vinegar with you by putting it in their mouth when sleeping or you get your own pad!

Need to be honest nothing wrong with that!

Go on vacation and get your own room. You should find it offending that the ones that snores keeps you awake all night.

Yer you should go! If you really want to go! Just say you would rather have a separate room say no offence or anything! Hopefully they should understand!

Be honest and say you need your beauty sleep. Book a separate room. Honesty is the best politics (sic)
