Divorce 5 years ago cost me a lot of friends cos most of our friends were couples and the women sided with her and the guys kinda played ball with them. This left me 2 good friends but one is so far away i just see him once a month.I'm a 43 year old guy in the UK with no ties, disposable income and time to put into new friendships but am struggling to figure out how to make more guy friends! Have lots of female friends but they don't offer the kind of friendship I'd like to have. Help!!!

sir, make your loneliness a privilege by honing some of your lost skills or rejuvenate some passion ,these will add up to your personality and then you will find people flocking around you.beside this the whole yahoo awaits you.

hmm you could try going to a place where you know you will see a lot of men. Like at the bar or a sports game.e Even a gym has a lot of guys there. You could try to make friends with some one from one of those places. Or you could try the Internet to look for friends. I mean if you can look for someone to date on line you can surely look for friends there too. Plus with the on line thing you could find someone who has similar interests as you right from the start cause if you just walk up to a stranger there is no way of knowing that you will have anything in common with him. And that's the point you want to have things in common with your friends. I am not sure if this helped or not cause I am not a guy and I don't know how guys really find their friends lol but I still hope I was of some help. Good luck!

don't go onto chat rooms i would move to the US nobody cares if you are divorced and all you have to do is move into a nice neighborhood and you would make lots of friends hope that helps but otherwise i don't really know
