This guy and I have been friends for about 1 1/2 years. When I met him I was dating someone. He and I became very close. He always said that if I was single he would date me. Well now I am single (for about 3 months). I spend ALOT of time with him and his little boy, I've slept with him several times(when he didn't have his son for a night) and he kisses me goodnight/ holds my hand etc even when his boy is there. Yet when he introdues me I am just a friend and he sometimes talkes like I am his best friend whom he just sleeps with!! It's driving me crazy! I can't tell what he wants. I love him to death and want to be with him. But I don't want to push him to define anything, he may just be giving me time to be single after my last relationship (which I am over) Also he works with my ex, could that be a reason he is hesitant to call me his GF? What should I do? I don't want to push things, I just want to know where I stand.

My friend had invited me to go skiing on this friday last friday. She is mad at me because she in fact meant that we would be staying friday night at a lodge and go skiing saturday and I thought that she meant we would only ski on friday. I had already made plans on that saturday thinking I would be free. Now my friend is saying that she told me all along that we were going to be staying the night but I remember her clearly saying that we would be skiing on friday and that was all I remember. Then she hung up on me. Is she in the right to be angry?

An old art collage buddy and his family stops by around Christmas most every year. We always enjoy there company. This year he ask to perches one of my paintings. I was flattered and because wear friends offered to drop the price a little and take payments, so much a month until it's payed off. He assured me that, that wasn't a problem so I let him take the painting with him when they left. I didn't take a down payment because he didn't have his check book with him. He said he'd cut me a check once he got back home. After a few weeks went by I called to inquire about payment. He acted shocked that his wife hadn't already cut me a check. A couple weeks later I called back again and told him If there was a cash flow problem he could forget about the $200.00 down payment and just pay me what we had agreed monthly installments shooed be. He agreed and another few weeks went by. It's now January 29th and no payment or call have I received. It's only $750.00 but a 20 year relationship. (?)!

Ok well there's this girl I really like. I see her a lot during the day, but I don't know what to say. I don't want to come on too strong by saying the wrong things or things too early. What can I do or say to just become friends for now? Everytime I try to talk to her, I end up not doing it or some of her friends come up to her (and I don't want to talk to her in front of all her friends unless there's like only one of her friends there). I just don't know what to say. I'm afraid I'll say something that will ruin it all.

We've talked on AIM a little bit, but she's usually not on or only on for a little bit, so I don't count that as talking to her.

What are some ways I can talk to her? What should I say exactly?

and then some of us cant get a break? i mean really i know people who could actually fall into a pile of poop and come out with a handful of gold.. i work my butt off every day i am a sweet person i am always thinking of others and give every thing i can to others. i try to always do what is rite. i love my kids my husband and my family but yet i am always on the loosing end y is that? how do you people that have it all every day do it? and how do the ones like me who struggle each day find strength to go on? real answers only please this isnt a joke i am being serious. and i am not putting anyone else down for having it all i think thats great i just want a little of what you have.

I need to start my life over and begin fresh im 16 and i have 4 friends but 2 of them are getting on my nerves and the other 2 are my best friends and i dont want to loose there friendship but i have been in love with one of them but she is 18 and she knows how i feel. Right now im depressed and trying to act more mature about 3 weeks ago i dropped out of school to get my GED and i think i made a right choice on it bcz i hated school and couldnt stand goin there everyday and im getting a job but i want to be more independent bcz i rely on the 4 of them to much i really want to start breaking out and hangin out with more ppl without losing the 4 of them can someone give me advice on wat i should do

my best friend just had sex with her bf for the first time, and shes been stressing about being pregnant and stuff and ive supported her and went to the store w/ her to get a pregnancy test, even though i dont agree with her choice to have sex. i was talkin to another friend online, whom my best friend doesnt like, and this other friend said that one of her bf's guy friends told his friends that they are having sex. i showed the convo to my best friend bc i wanted her to know. did i make a mistake, should i not have told her? do you think she thinks im trying to break her and her boyfriend up? He has lost his grandmother and his mother in the last 6 months he crys alot and he is not the emtional type he won't sleep, eats fast food if he is hungry...he is drinking alot and is thinking of doing drugs...he talks to me but just enough to get by but I know it is more, "how do I help him what do I say or request for him to do"?..he has gone to the doctors and they said he is getting sick and they need to do test...I know depression is different for men than women how "do I help him"?

ok, so my two BEST friends got into thie GINORMOUS fight. Now i tried to help them both for quite some time. Then it was too much too handle. so i tried to step out of the situation. When i did do that, one of my friends got REALLY mad at me because i became uninvolved and they thought i was scared. but i honestly only backed out because i had problems of my own to deal with. Right well , i've known my best mate for 12 years and we really get on well. last year we both got drunk and we kissed, and have done 4 times since then, but its always when we are drunk, and we have never spoke about it.Ive started really liking her, well actually alot she is always on my mind.she has started seeing this guy(not going out with) and im really jelouse. basically i don;t know what to do should i tell her or not. do u think this could reck our relationship? im really having troble making up my mind ... i know im the only one who can deside what to do... but any advice would be great. if anyone has been in the same situation how did it work out? and thanks

2 years ago, my "best" friend made it look like i didn't do any work for a group project and after that, noone wanted to work with me for almost the rest of the year. its still affecting me and i really hate her, but i don't like to hate people. i tried to forgive her, but that didn't work. can anyone give me some advice?

So i have this friend who got mad at me bcuz she thought i was trying to piss her off and because she thought i told her to shut up, but i really told her to "CALM DOWN" when she freaked out because she broke something. She thought i was just not liking her or something and was trying to piss her off. So she goes off and tells the two people i didn't want to know who i liked who i liked. She basically tells a whole bunch of people who i like just because i pissed her off because of the fact that she didn't hear me correctly. But even if i did tell her to shut up, she didn't have to take it this far. She knew that i didn't want the two people that i know she told to know about whom i liked. But she did it anyway, to get back at me?

who she claims to be "in love" with. Well, now she doesn't speak to me at all. I didn't tell her to stop seeing the guy. I didn't threaten to tell her husband nor did I speak ill of the guy she was cheating with or of her. It's just that I didn't approve and didn't offer my support. I miss her now that we're not talking, but have learned that she is friends only with people when it is convenient for her. I guess that makes her a user of sorts. Was I wrong for not offering her support in cheating on her husband? Should I have joined the team of supporters and cheered her on as she broke her marriage vows or was it okay that I stood firm for what I believe is right?
