i think i am being to pushy with my best guy friend cuz like i want to go out with him but he doesnt and his excuse is that he is a senior and i am a freshman but i dont know and now i think i am bugging him i think he is trying to pull away from our friendship while i am holding on tighter than ever i dont want to lose him he is a good friend what should i do?

I broke up with a friend 2 weeks because she has so much drama going on in her life and all she does is talk down on people, but never to me. She was nice. I've asked her not to say things like that to me, but she continuously did it anyway. So I told her that I could not be friends with someone who is so judgemental. Now, she called, living a message , today inviting my 1 year old son and I to her kids birthday party next weekend. She said its because her daughter misses my son. I used to babysit for those kids every other day and they loved playing with my son. What should I do? Should I just go for the kids? The party is taken place at chucky cheese and there will be people there that she hangs around with that are just like her. Drama, Gossipers.

i always wanted to have more friends but i was to shy and then i lost them and now i want to have new freiends in my clas or outside but i noticed that they can be only interesed in be helped not to help.it is a nasty situation.and how can i become more confident?i wish i could say always what i think.

Ok so I am still freinds with my "so called best friend" (friends for 5 years) she has grown apart from me.. We use to hang out ALL THE TIME.. she dont care for my "soon to be my husband" (in sept 07') which has done nothing but made me very happy.. i had a baby 10mo ago.. and she never called me..she is always trying to find a way of getting out of things when I try to plan thigs to do with her. I dont get why your friends dont care about you once you are happy. Why are people like that?

I was texting this girl I like, we've been talking for a while. I asked if she could talk and she said she was talking to her BF so maybe later. I texted, "You never told me you had a boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me? I'll just ttyl....". She then texted "I just did." . Anyways I felt pretty stupid so I texted, " I'll call at a better time.". She replied, " Okay". But to tell the truth I'm not sure i I could ever talk to her again. She already made me feel like an idiot and I acted like a jackass about it. Was I stupid in my anger? And should I ever try calling her again?

Theres this guy and we really like eachother. My mom heard from my best friend, my younger brother (by one year), and my other friend that he's emo and goth. Yeah, he dresses emo ish but he doesnt cut himself he told me he would never do anything like that. Also, he hangs out with the goths/emos at our school. I personally like him whether or not he dresses like that as long as he doesnt go to far (he only wear band tees and has black hair(naturally) that he wears straight down over some of his face). I think he's really nice and funny and actually really cares about me. But after my mom heard some peoples' thoughts about how he's emo/goth (which hes not only a little...) , she doesn't like him anymore. What should i do? I'm starting to doubt because my mom's opinion matters alot you know?

I'm a rather rigid guy who never touches friends except to shake their hands to congratulate them. I never wrap my arm around their shoulder or try to wrestle with them, you know, in a friend sort of way. I would love to do that with some of my male friends because I think they think I'm boring and robot-like, but I'm afraid of trying the above due to the fear of them thinking I'm trying to hit on them. I notice gal pals are very comfortable holding hands and stuff, but as for guy pals... I have no clue whatsoever :(

My neigbor is very strange. She lies to her mom about what me and our other niegbor do at school like say bad stuff and ignore her. She allways yells at us for nothing and if she is mad at someone else she gets mad at us even if we don't know that person! When ever we try to ask her whats wrong she starts yellling at us and then starts crying to her mom!!!!! Now her mom is mad at our families and her mom gossips really bad so our families are going to look really bad in the nieghborhood.
Also she never gives ... i once asked her for a quater and she was like no.... it's my money.... and we allways give her clothes and stuff.... is she a friend what shall i do??? her mom doesn't like us now and starts sceaming at us and calling us little s**ts!!! help me please!!!!!

My "best friend"A. turned out to be a back staber!At first everything was ok and we always had the best of time!We would talk for hours on the phone,had the same tastes,etc;i felt there was a strong connection between us!I knew she was the kind of person that gosips but i didn't know how much.Like any 2girlsfriends we would talk about all sorts of things and people-but i saw it all as a joke!Turns out that the joke was on me cuz i'm 1of the people she gosips about alot!And as if that weren't enough she's always spreding lies about me to people i know and people i don't!She is always exagerating the truth and turning it into a huge lie so that she appeares to be the inocent godess!Not to mention sometimes when she feels like it she treat me like hell!I tried to distance myself from but she is the one that insistes on being friends and she always saying "oh,ur my best friend!I love u" and then 5min laters when i'm not there she talks about me and lies!What do i do?Why does she do this?
