i am alone,
no physical presence of my friends who are in gulf countries...
financial bariiers are there to maintain the relationship as they are very far from me...
now i am working in nagercoil, tamilnadu, there i dont have job satisfaction...

He the very best friend I have ever had. We have lived in Ojai, CA , Oxnard, CA , and in Bullhead City, AZ. Please let me know anything that might be relevant. I'll find him but I need help I think.

Ok here's what happend, by best friend has and 11 month old son this will be his first christmas and she lives with her boyfreind he has a 5 year old girl. She is always comlaining that her boyfriend treats his doughter better than their son, but we wnt shopping for black friday (the day after thanksgiving) and she spent most of $400 on their son and only bought the little girl 4 outfits and one toy. her mom gave her the money and said buy for (babys name). Now is it ok for me to speak up and say something to her. This little girl will be there christmas morning and i am affraid she wont have many presents to open and the baby will have tons. please help this is causing me to lose sleep and im affraid it could end our friendship. im completly aginst this kinda behaveior and she know's it seeing's how 2 of my children are step children to my husband. do i confront her or butt out???

I have several long-time friends. I listened to them, cheered them on, helped them, stuck up for them, and tried to be a supportive and caring friend. My flaws: I don't spend that much time with them (a call/visit every few months with occasional emails and IM, although I'm there in a flash if they need me in a tight situation), I'm not good at criticizing them about their flaws...and I don't like them much.

I've never really liked people--felt this sense of real belonging to any person until recently. Yet I've tried my best to be a good friend to people I see around me and keep in touch with them, especially those who seem eager to be my friend or who seem lonely. They kept in touch with me and asked me out. Now that I'm shifting some attention away from my old friends, they're getting mad and accusing me of immaturity, leading them on, and having used them for selfish reasons. Have I? When is it considered using someone? I had lukewarm feelings, yes,but I never betrayed them

Today is my birthday and everyone forgot except one friend and my mom and she didn’t even get me a real gift, just a $100 bill and a card.
Even my Dad, Friends, and Grandparents forgot.
I’m nice to lots of people and I go out of my way to make sure there is nobody who dislikes me and everyone is always happy, why didn’t anyone remember?
I always remember theirs and make sure they have a really good time.
I feel like I am very sad and alone right now.
Today I am 20 and it’s supposed to be a big deal, a step up, and a happy good time. So why am I so sad right now? Why can’t I stop thinking about all the worst memories and sad feelings I have right now?
I feel like I have no real friends

Can anyone tell me how to be happy again?
I'll do anything.

Please advice me?
i had a friend but not a boy friend.he is one year elder to me.i love him a lot as a friend.but i haven't met him.no one in our home know that i have a friend like him.i kept it as a secret.i used to talk to him daily.but from 2 weeks im out of country i couldn't talk yo him.i missed him a lot.i now returned to my country.in my home they won't allow me talk to boys especially unknows. but im very upset without him.in his house also same type of restrictions.now in my house they knew that i was talking to other boy.they r suspecting that may be he's my boyfriend.i said that he was my friend's younger brother who is 4-5 yrs younger to me. but now my position is too worst and not allowing me atleast lift the phone.but i had only him as a friend to share my feelings and everything.wat shall i do now shall i continue friendship with him or not?noway in my house encourage this.please advise me

Every time I come to a dinner party at my good friend and his wife's house, her mom just picks on me. First time when I met her- she asked me what do I do for a living and when I told her that I'm an aspiring actress she was like "So, do you have a real job?". I was so shocked I couldn't even answer anything to her.
For this Thanksgiving I was invited to my friend's house again and among other guests-the mom was there again. This time she was even more rude- when I told everybody that my pet cought a cold- she asked:"What? It's non dead yet?" and then she dropped hints that I'm milking my husband of 10 years for money. I was sitting pretty close to her so while she was talking aloud- nobody really noticed what she said. I just pretended nothing happened.
I usually don't get offended by people like her- maybe she's an unhappy person etc., but it pisses me off that she allowes herself to make these kind of comments and I want it to stop. What should I do?

I was friends with this girl throughout high school. We basically only hung out with each other, although she wasn't a very good friend to me. She used me for rides and money and a place to stay.. she always was after my boyfriends, did drugs, was a whore, and would completely ditch me if she had a boyfriend. When I had a boyfriend and she was single, she'd stalk me and force me to hang out with her daily. She'd call 50 times a day (I'm not joking) and if I didn't answer the phone she'd bang on my door for hours. I eventually moved away after a bunch of other crappy things happened and kind of told her off and never spoke to her again. But for some reason I still have dreams about her as if we're still friends. I haven't talked to her in almost 4 years. Why am I dreaming about this loser?

Backdrop- Very outgoing once I meet the right people, and entertaining like an actress/comic with many people. Mom at 17, brought up by a recluse, and usually had friends because there were plenty of people who approached me.
What do I do to get over my fears of reaching out, now that I actually have to? Not a church-goer... any ideas?

for the past month or so, i've been feeling extremely depressed and lonely...i think about my future and i really see nothing. even when i have people around me, the company just isn't enough. i always find myself thinking back to a time where i was happier and comparing it to my situation now, which always makes things worse. i feel like nobody in this world loves me, or even cares.

i'm wondering if this is just a phase, or if i should seek medical help? can anyone else relate to this?

i've had periods like this before, but it's never been this bad...

I know this might sound stupid but here goes:

Before, whenever my friend ask me to go somewhere with her, if I say I can't, she would literally stay home and not go. For example, one time she asked me if I wanted to go to a Jessica Simpson concert with her and I couldn't, so she stayed home the whole day. She had said, ''If you don't go, I won't go.''

But now, she changed. When she ask me to go somewhere and I say no, she replies, ''I don't care, I'll ask etc, etc.'' My cousin tells me that means my friend doesn't really care about me anymore because she says, ''I don't care if you go or not...'' But I think it's because she made more friends so if I don't go, she has someone else to go with. What do you guys think? Does it mean my friend doesnt really like me anymore or it's nothing?
