Friends - November 2006

My friend is two states away and her 5 year old sister was playing with her cell. She must have called me on speed dial by accident then set down the phone without knowing. I can hear her and my friend playing in the background. I'm positive its her. No one hears me when I yell into the phone so I tried hanging up but everytime i turn the phone back on she's still on the other line! I can't get a dial tone. What can I do?

A friend of mine has been away for two weeks on training and i counted nearlly everyday till he will be back to talk too, he is the only one i trust to talk to about things and he knows how i feel i dont really need to say anything, is this bad when you rely on someone so much in your life, will they let you down in the end?

i've been friends with sara for years...and at the beginning of the year, we both became best friends with this girl lizzy. i mean she's really nice and we have so much in common, but lately she's become better friends with sara then me. so i'm kinda left out D= which really sucks, because it makes me feel like a tag-along, then like a real friend. sara's #3 on lizzy's top 8 in myspace, and i'm #5. lol. forgive me for comparing my friendship to a top 8, but it's just been bugging me. any advice??? =D thanks.

You must have friends. With friends you can go out to party or have fun outside or anywhere.......with friends you feel a whole lot confident when talking to a girl.........You have someone to come to your birthday party......you have someone to call to give you a ride somewhere......you have someone to talk with........you have someone to laugh with.......you have someone to invite to your wedding.....you have someone to invite to your housewarming....you have someone to invite to your bachelor party.....you have a clique to go to springbreak or whatever with..... etc. These things make a happy full life, without friends these things are really not possible...without friends life is basically a waste and a failure. Anybody agree or disagree, please comment...

Okay, so my best friend and I have been best friends since 5th grade (now in tenth). I was talking to her, and she kept blowing me off. Finally I got her to talk to me and she freaked out at me telling me how I wasnt a good enough friend...and how she didnt trust me. She said that her real best friends came over to her house anytime she needed.
The thing is that she just had a surgery....and alot of people where over at her house alot....My parents said no...and after like 40 minutes of tears and begging....I got them to let me go over for 10 minutes to give her some stuff to do and see how she was doing. Now she and all of her "best frends" are angry at me.
What should I do? Am i wrong to think she shouldnt be mad at me becausemy parents are REALLY strict and wont let me go over to her house 24-7? How can I fix this? Ahhhh Help please

I went to the mall and they told me to call them and tell them that I was going. I forgot to call them but now they think that i didnt forget and i just went somewhere else or planned something else. And i cant get them to believe me.

it is actually my step-fatherhe is always so strict he gets what he want when he wants it examples:
when im watching gilmore girls and he wants to play videogames we have to give up the tv
he wants us to rake the yard we do we spend time ut of our schedule to rake e doesnt even say thank u or good job

first meet people and im 5 ft 2" and 180 lbs sometimes I think that's why I can't make any friends becouse im fat. Skinny girls very rarely have fat friends.

I called my friend to talk to her about a guy one day...like girlfriends do. After about 10 minutes, she gets an attitude and asks, with a laugh, how much longer I would go on. (Strike 1) Another time, I called to ask her opinion about something, and she proceeded to talk to me at length, ignoring my question,(Strike 2) about her problems, asked my opinion, then got annoyed (Strike 3) when I said "I don't know." Her response was "You must have SOME opinion!!" These are only a couple of examples, but this happens often. Now, I'm patient and understanding, but it's getting old with her expecting me to listen to and be helpful with her MARITAL problems (I've never been married, so what do I know, but I try to help), but when it comes to my DATING issues, she doesn't have the time. How can I confront her about this?

Well I want to call my friend and ask him if he is going out tonite. The other day when we talked online I said let me know if you end up going out, he said ya he would let me know. Last weekend I said to him if you end up coming out let me know and he did call, but I want to call him myself and ask him, but I dont know if he will be annoyed or anything. I've been sad for, quite some time now. I'm 15 years old and I felt like I found the love of my life but I broke his heart and then we got back together but then we got back together and after a while he let me go...and I feel so depressed...I cant eat, sleep, all I do is cry and it feels like I lost the most important person in my life...I wasnt even this bad off when I lost my grandfather. I dont know what to do...is this really depression, Thats what my school conslor is telling me. she says im going threw depression but...i think shes wrong..is she right? what should I do? do i need to tell my parents what is going on?
