My friend called me by accident and she doesn't know...help?

Question

My friend is two states away and her 5 year old sister was playing with her cell. She must have called me on speed dial by accident then set down the phone without knowing. I can hear her and my friend playing in the background. I'm positive its her. No one hears me when I yell into the phone so I tried hanging up but everytime i turn the phone back on she's still on the other line! I can't get a dial tone. What can I do?

She's visiting relatives and isn't online =/

use one of those canned air boat horns- they should hear it then

have you tried unplugging your phone (if its a land line)

Try to locate the relatives home phone number and call them using your land line or a pay phone. Otherwise, I think you should completely turn your phone off for a while and see if that helps. Good luck!!

does your friend have a home phone number you can call them on? If so you can call them on that line and tell them so they can hang up their cell phone. You could also try turning off your phone, which should sever the connection

i dont think you really hung up on her. did you leave the phone off for a solid 5 minutes? by then, she should be gone, and you should have a dial tone.

if u have 3 way click over nad call her on the other line or keep the phone hung up for awhile it will so hang up on her

Try her home phone. If you keep your phone hung the line will eventually go dead.

Email her.
If you know any of her neighbours phone or someone who lives by, call and tell them to get to her.

put an alarm clock next to the phone and set it off.

call her cell phone/house line, or wait till she figures it out and kicks herself when she gets her long distance phone bill....not much you casn do I dont think

unplug the phone cord.
start blowing into the phone to get her attention.
or just press restart...which'll work btw =D
