I went to the mall and they told me to call them and tell them that I was going. I forgot to call them but now they think that i didnt forget and i just went somewhere else or planned something else. And i cant get them to believe me.

do something that will take there mind off of it or just do stuff to get there trust back

Talk to them honestly and apologize for your mistake. Assure them that in the future you will not forget to call them.
Try to do more things to win their trust back and things should turn around.

If you are 10, maybe you should get a cell phone and call them once an hour or so
If you are 16, just say where you are going and where you will be.
If you are mature and trustable, that should be enough.

its a matter of trust if they don't believe you then it means they don't trust you
