Yes! You're good and dearest friends are everything! Sometimes they're the only ones who truly love you unconditionally for all your faults but also through all the good times. I'm way older than most here and my best friend and I have been BF's for 30 years. We've each lost family, parents, siblings, etc. We've both been through marriages, divorces and broken hearts. No matter what we've done, we accept one another through thick & thin. We travelled when we were in college and we still do. We still like the same things and above all else we know one will watch the other ones' back.
We made a pact that which ever one of us goes into a nursing home first (we're far from it!) the other one would have to come wax our chin & daub the dribble. She'll do it for me. I'll do it for her. I even recently asked her if she'd speak at my funeral if I should go first. She's the only one who knows my funnies stories, my weaknesses, the true tales of my life...
Someone once told me that the friends I make in college are the friends I'll have for life. It's true!

In life we have friends and then we have acquaintance's. There is a huge difference. A friend is somebody who will always be there for you anytime, anywhere. An acquaintances is somebody we know, party with have a good time and then go home and if we see each other again great but would you call them is you had a problem and needed help. Would you tell them something and know it will go no further. If you can have two good true friends in a lifetime then your have accomplished alot.

I disagree. Friends are not more important than family. I have alot of friends. I don't talk to them everyday. I have a family and I stay very busy with them. I try to make time for us a little. They just fit into my life when I am not busy.

it depends. if you guys have been through it all and come out of it strong. some friends have been there for a long time that they almost feel like a member of your family. friends are not everything, but they mean just as much.

I remember i use to be like friends are forever boys are whatever and stuff! But it's changing most of them change and move on. I don't think friends are EVERYTHING! Most of them wont be in your life forever! FAMILY IS EVERYTHING they will be there no matter what!!!!
