Wellwhat is your reason for going back?? not enough info!! If it is for training due to the lack of being able to get a good job then tell it like it is sometimes army can be a place to get a carrer , which will make for a better life. talk to them that you wish to make more of yourself and the best way to do it is to get back into the army, as if you don't then there is not much oppertunity to do much with your life. Explain it the best way you can if they don't agree ask for thier opinion on how to do better! See if they have a fessible option.

Your mom should have been happy for you. As far as your girlfriend goes, that was just stupid. They should be happy that you are trying to do something with your life and for your country. The best way to tell anything, that is hard to do, is to just tell them. Don't sugarcoat it or beat around the bush. You are grown and I mean its not like they can stop you from going sinc eyou already have reinlisted. Just keep in mind the ones that love you while you are over there so you will be strong. Tell your mama if she wants you to come back home alive, you need to know she loves you and always thinking about you. Write her everyday even if she doesn't write her back. If she doesn't love you, then I do. I love all the troops, and I want them to all come back home even though I know that's not going to happen. I just wish Bush would send the remaining troops home. Half of us or them don't even know what we are fighting for anymore...

Be honest and tell them. If they don't like it then they don't care about you. You are doing what is important to you. If you that makes you happy then everyone else should stand behind you. I would like to thank you for serving our country. My husband was in the Navy for 81/2 years. Our daughter was in but got sent home to have her surgery on her foot. She like 2 weeks finishing. So good luck.

you be a man and just tell them you are fighting for our country and if that makes them mad well then you just need to let it go be proud of what you are doing
