Today is my birthday and everyone forgot except one friend and my mom and she didn’t even get me a real gift, just a $100 bill and a card.
Even my Dad, Friends, and Grandparents forgot.
I’m nice to lots of people and I go out of my way to make sure there is nobody who dislikes me and everyone is always happy, why didn’t anyone remember?
I always remember theirs and make sure they have a really good time.
I feel like I am very sad and alone right now.
Today I am 20 and it’s supposed to be a big deal, a step up, and a happy good time. So why am I so sad right now? Why can’t I stop thinking about all the worst memories and sad feelings I have right now?
I feel like I have no real friends

Can anyone tell me how to be happy again?
I'll do anything.

At least you had somebody who remembered you brat! On my 15 birthday, nobody remember my birthday and do you want to know what I got? Squat!!!

But how you can forget? Look forward to next year, or do something for yourself. Take some time off. Hope you had a good birthday! ^.~

I think we've all had birthdays like that... I know I've had more than my fair share. My 16th was spent in the hospital... I had surgery a few days before and still couldn't eat or drink anything, so never even had a cake, and my brother left for the navy that day, so I spent it in a hospital bed alone. Four years later, he got discharged from the Navy on my birthday.... so that one was wasted too. And if its not something like that, there are space shuttles blowing up, family friends dying, or its superbowl sunday.

Take your $100 and treat yourself to something nice.... and remember that forgetting your birthday doesn't mean people don't love you... just that they're a bit self absorbed at the moment. I'm sure most will feel terrible once they realize they forgot.

WEll im 20 yrs old and i'll tell you about the worst bd i had. I was at a dinner with my family in public and my acholic dad yelled at me and i threw up later that night from the food. Believe me not everyone will remb your birthday. I have never really had good friends. on my 17ths bday the one friend i had told me that he layed around his house on my bday when i called him to hang out. 100 dollars thats really nice. to me thats a gift because you can buy what you want. If they didn't remb your birthday they probably were to busy or weren't worth it. Do stuff for yourself because alot of people are too selfish to do anything for anyone but theirself. Alot of people can't be relied on. dont dwell on the past or you'll drive yourself crazy. its hard not to let go of all the bad stuff ,but you can forget when your busy .

Just a $100 is big money to me .Hey why are you complaining ? At least your mom and your friend remembered your birthday .Some people are just so busy that they have to be reminded .why dont you talk to your mom about it and find out.I dont know your friends and family personally, so I really dont know why it happened but be sure to remind them of your birthday next time around 21 is more important than the 20 it says that it is when you are really grown up.

Happy Birthday, Im sorry your sad, this happens sometimes...a couple years ago my own mother forgot my birthday and went on vacation for three days so I know how you feel. I cried it out and let it go. Maybe you can do the same or just go out and celebrate yourself, treat yourself to something you normally wouldn't(hey the hundred bucks should help with that) or just remind them they missed it, I'm sure they didn't mean to. Hope you feel better.

Dude... first thing... Quit felling sorry for yourself. You got a $100 bucks for your birthday, so go spend it on something that you want/like. Next year you are going to be 21, so you can plan a trip somewhere for that.

Your 20th birthday is nothing really special... at 16th you get to drive, 18th you get to vote and gamble, 21st you get to drink, 25th you car insurance payments go down.

I am sure your family will make it up to you later this week. You need to choose to be happy. It was one birthday.. you will have many more!

Happy birthday from a stranger, and cheer up!

stop going out your way to make everyone else happy and try to concentrate more on yourself and what do it matter if some one dont like you dont go out your way to make them like you just do this for a while and you might see some change for the better
