I was texting this girl I like, we've been talking for a while. I asked if she could talk and she said she was talking to her BF so maybe later. I texted, "You never told me you had a boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me? I'll just ttyl....". She then texted "I just did." . Anyways I felt pretty stupid so I texted, " I'll call at a better time.". She replied, " Okay". But to tell the truth I'm not sure i I could ever talk to her again. She already made me feel like an idiot and I acted like a jackass about it. Was I stupid in my anger? And should I ever try calling her again?

She should have told you she had a boyfriend in the first place. Don't feel like an idiot, she is the one who created the situation. I would leave her alone. She is obviously a girl who likes attention and likes to play games. If her boyfriend wouldn't have been present at the time, she probably wouldn't have told you then either. She is sneaky and deceitful.

She should had told you she had a bf in the first place before you guys started talking. Don't text her anymore if you want a serious relationship since it seems that she's not likely to chose you over her bf. But if you wanna stay friends with her or whatever just be cool about the bf thing.

Obviously you want her for more than a friend and she just told you she isn't interested.
If you can keep it just at a friendship level, then call. If you want more, then leave her alone. You'll just torture yourself.
We all make silly mistakes that we feel stupid about. Life is too short to stress over such a little thing. Laugh at yourself and go on.

Was it friendly talk or was she flirting with you?
if it was friendly talk well it is not her fault may be she like talking to you as a friend. But if she was flirting with you, yes she is stupid and childish. And NO your are not an idiot, you just didn't know. but don't talk to her again if she was flirting with you, until she come up with good explanation.
