Friends - November 2006

Ok, so i'm going out with this guy, right. The thing is, he has this other friend, "Jane", and she's always telling him that I treat him bad, and that he deserves someone better. Someone that doesn't make him change for them, and someone that cares about him. She doesn't even know me, and yet she says that i'm suck up and mean and who knows what else.
The worst part of it is, he eats up everything she says and then starts to believe it himself.
Everyone who knows me thinks I can do way better. Way, way, better. But they care enough about me to let me be happy with him. They don't go and meddle in my business. They know how much i really care about him, and that i would do anything for him. Then there's Jane that 'advices' him to dump me, just to see that i wouldn't even care. No, wait. Here comes the good part: he actually said that I WOULDN'T give a sh it if that happened......yeah, I know. i'm sick and tired of this. Should i just end it, or try for the 100 time?

The other day at work I had my phone stolen which I'd bought only 2 days before & the fact is that some1 who I work with stole it.I only showed it to 1 person and so its obviously a huge coinsidence that it went missing on the first day I brought it in to work and only showed it one person.However the person who I showed it to is the person there who Iv'e had the most social contact with and I even though I don't him very well hes seems like a genuine and sincere kind of person so I don't want to believe its him but condsidering he was the only person who I showed it to and no-one else knew I had a new phone I somehow think that it was him. Also he said the following day to me 'I bet your parents think it was me because I'm the only1 who you showed it to'-which sounded a bit strane like he was trying to cover himself.I somehow am sure that it was him and I thought about asking him whether he did steal it.But if I find out whether is was him should I forgive him or not trust him again??

My friend is trying to set me up with my other friend who id just met like 2 months ago. I really do like him, but choose not to annoy him with it since he is already surrounded by girls(and he hates the attention) and because he does have a girlfriend. I talk with him a lot and stuff because i actually get along with him better then my best friend of 4 years. How should i stop her? Her first step is was "love" letter that i supposedly wrote. he knew instantly that it wasnt me because, he knows that i wouldnt do something like that.
HOw can i get her to stop this before i end up getting hurt?

Ok, I put on this ask thing, does she like me, so I'll recap, HER FREIND came up to me, right before I left the dance and told me not to go and dance, and talk with jessica, the girl that i like. Then on monday her and I were talking about, well I'll put it to you this way, we like the same things, she sat with me on the bus, and she asked since none of her friends were on the bus, can i sit with you. Then I told her, that i was allergic to peanuts and she said, I'll bring you some candy that doesnt have nuts in them. and i sat with her during lunch, yesterday, but not today. I sit next to her during math, and I talk to her too, and i talk to her after class, so yeah I am kind of stupid at the subject of girls liking me, some one please give me an answer on whats going on here!!!!

i'm 12, he's 14 his name is jared..i think he's the type that u don't c as cute, but to me he's really cute, he seems to be looking at me when i'm looking somewhere else, but i'm not sure. he seems so shy when i'm around like i am and he's been "avoiding" me lately, but i'm scared that our friends would think it's ridiculous if i told him i like him (i'm not planning 2), some guy screamed out that i like him, and i'm also scared that he heard, some people would agree i'm too young 2 go out, and i think so 2, now i've stop looking at him in the hallways and buildings, but it's kind of making me like him more, all the advice my bffs gave me won't work and i need help.

my friend (guy), told me he was going to break up with his gf of the last 7 months, they are my best friends and i would do anything for either of them, (in case u were wondering, i am a guy), he said he finds her annoying now, but she seems to be in love with him, and doesnt seem to know anything thats going on. this whole mess seems like a recipe for disaster for me, because when he finally breaks up with her, she is going to ask why i didnt tell her it was coming, ill lie and say he didnt but she'll never believe it. What do i do? How do i save both of these friendships?

I have a dear frind who has been my freind for the last 15 years, I have been seing bruises on her alot lately & she always blew it off as something else.....I went thru her phone & got the proof I needed, I talked to her boyfreinds mom & she had admitted to her that he has hit her.. My babysitter got sick and my fiance and I were not able to attend my friends husbands 30th birthday party. She held the party at a very expensive restuarant ($45 per person). The restuarant charged her for us even though we were not there. She then called to ask me for the money. I could not help not being there..I could find no one to watch the kids. I did call her and let her know what was going on. Do I really owe her?

My chirldren are having problems with this school sence we moved here. They feel alienated and singled out to be made fun of. They didn't feel like this before at other schools they have attended. But for the last 3 years it has gotten worse at this one. I hate to see them so miserable. My daughter wasn't experencing this as bad her first year but as time has went by it gotten worse. My son has felt this from day one. I have been to the school about it and it seemed to do no good if not make it worse. Please give me some advise, I feel so helpless.

Well my best friend her grandfather died yesterday and I'm not sure what i should do to comfort her and her sister? She started crying on the phone and I wish i could have been at home with her but the thing is that she lives 2 hours away and she won't even make it to the funeral because shes in university and has labs of some sort. But she said that she would go to some thing next week not to sure. But what can I do about this.

Ok. This one's a bit embarrassing. My husband ordered some lingerie for me online as a surprise for her birthday. Anyway, it gets delivered (in his name) and because we're not in and it won't fit through our letter box the postman gives it to our neighbours for safekeeping.

Unfortunately the parcel was slightly damaged, so you can see that there is some racey underwear in there. Plus the company that sent the item have only gone and put their name on the package which leaves you in no doubt about the contents!

I don't know whether the neighbours looked or even if they spotted the label, but I'm so embarrassed and so is my husband.

We need to come up with a good excuse when I next see the neighbours - to esnure that they don’t think I'm a tart and my husband isn't a crossdresser! Any ideas?
