Ok. This one's a bit embarrassing. My husband ordered some lingerie for me online as a surprise for her birthday. Anyway, it gets delivered (in his name) and because we're not in and it won't fit through our letter box the postman gives it to our neighbours for safekeeping.
Unfortunately the parcel was slightly damaged, so you can see that there is some racey underwear in there. Plus the company that sent the item have only gone and put their name on the package which leaves you in no doubt about the contents!
I don't know whether the neighbours looked or even if they spotted the label, but I'm so embarrassed and so is my husband.
We need to come up with a good excuse when I next see the neighbours - to esnure that they don’t think I'm a tart and my husband isn't a crossdresser! Any ideas?

Who cares what your neighbors think, if anything, you should strut around the house in your lingerie with the curtains open...They know you two are married and Im sure they know you get naked...Im sure they can care less what was in the package, If anything you probably lifted their sex lives....

You don't have to explain anything to anyone as it is none of their business. If your neighbours are brazen enough to even say anything to you when you next see them which I very much doubt all you have to say is that it is a private matter and you don't want to discuss it, end off. Similar thing happened to my sister when a package was delivered to her from a mail order firm from a well known exotic company, the neighbours took it in for her and demanded to know what was it in or they will ring the police so my sister calmly told them that she would also contact the police because of their harassment into her private affairs, they never mentioned it again so be strong and be ready to tell them that its nothing to do with them and enjoy the underwear, have fun.

Just tell them the truth. What the hack? You love your husband and your husband loves you so he gave you a suprise and if you both were not in it was bound to happen (to give it to your neighbours) and why don't you take it in a positive way maybe your neighbours wanted some help for their life to prosper.

not only for this incident but we really can live without any excuses cause it won't do us any better. you don't owe them any explanations no matter what. whatever they like to think and talk about nothing you can do to stop it. whatever we do, so long we know what we are doing and it's right we don't need to further explain.
although having said that, if you all are getting along well with your neighbours and if the timing is right you all can casually chat about this incident and share what really happened. if you really need that peace of mind. just be up front casually.

first off all - no excuses!!!
Don't feel embarrassed about it - you aren't the only one it the world that buy things like this - how can you know your neighbours don't do similar presents to each other. if you show them that you embarrassed - you will give them opportunity to make you feel worst. act like nothing happened and if they mentioned something - just make a good joke of it!!!

Why do you need an excuse-
I presume you are an adult and over the age of consent-
Hold your head up high and be proud that you have a healthy sex life.
I seem to recall that's how the human race exists to begin with.
Enjoy yourselves cos that's what it's all about.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. If anything is said, just let them know it was a birthday gift from him to you. Be proud that you and your husband still have an intimate part of life.

Accuse your neighbor's husband of being a crossdresser and damaging the package so he could get some out and wear it!

just tell them that you have bought the stuff for a friends birthday as a joke and the person will be opening in at the middle of a party and that you are only paying them back for a joke they played on you in the past good luck lol

I think you should keep doing your excuse because excuse is good for you and if your husband don't want you to excuse then tell him he have to go because you is not buy to stop excuse for him and nobody else just tell him thats something you like to do because it is health for you and your body good luck girl I hope you make it with the advice I'm giving you
