I'm a sophmore female civil engineering major at a dominant engineering school. In highschool, I had plently of girlfriends, but here in college there aren't many girl's in my classes, so all my friends are guys. I love my friends here to death, but sometimes I would rather just hang out with my girlfriends from back home. I feel like I'm just having trouble relating to the other girl's I see here on campus... most of them lake severe common sense or any respect for themselves. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can meet the same kind of girl's that I had in High school at college too?

Okay I have this friend she and another of my friends ALWAYS fight(verbally) and then they get mad at each other. And my friend ALWAYS complians about the other girl how she is always getting mad for stupid stuff. But all i say is "i dont care,really,,,just forget about it" i say that ebcause the next day or so they make up and are friends again. I mean for god's sake we are grade 9 shouldnt we act better then as if we are in middle school? So how can i stop her from complaiing because first she will say that she wont complaina nd then 10 minutes later she is STILL ragging on. My boyfriend of nearly five months has just broken up with me. The thing is he is the only person i have ever truly cared about. Ever since we split i cant stop crying, im crying writing this. What makes it harder is the fact he loves me and i know it, we havent knew each other long but in the time we have we have grew closer than is humanly possible.

The reason he split is because my ex partner was abusive and violent and he managed to get my new partners num. He sent him messages and rang him for a couple of days.

He says he is feeling it just as much as me and that he wont get over me for a long time(even been crying as much as me). He just thinks we will be happier in the long run as my idiot of an ex would start crap again and make us hate each other.

The fact is he doesnt realise how much i will miss and need him in my life.

I would appreciate anyones views and comments on this, please??

I havent had a steady boyfriend in who knows when and the only guy that is interested is never available. I feel like my life is going down the toliet and my friends apparently dont like me. So get new ones? yeah umm apparently people in general dont like me. Im not weird or anything i mean everyone says they are jelous...which is stupid right? why would people be mean to you and distant for that?I try to be nice obviously that isent working. so things are working out for everyone but me...thats how it feels anyway.
I pray my life will change....i just want a reassurance that there is a life after highschool

i'm a girl and some of my really good guy friends make fun of me and my best friend(a girl) for playing soccer. one of the guys "bob" is going out with my best friend and she exploded on him one day for talking bad about soccer. now "bob" is playing kiss up to her but hasnt apologized once to me and i've been friends with him longer than they have known each other. is this bullshit or am i just crazy?

my mom has a very bad illness, and the doctores said with to mch strees she could die. shes not supose to have strees in her life but every thing is. this week end my mother and i have t go to a wedding, and as if shes not stress out enough my brother has to push her to the edge. i've try'd to talk to my brother but he will not listen. i want to do something anything to help lower her stress. what could i do to help keep my mom alive? oh and i have four brothers.
