Not sure how its spelt but its a place in Scotland.
I am trying to find a friend I lost touch with when I left South Africa.I am sure she told me she was from there,
I have tried every other search so I would like to put a letter in the paper and perhaps there are relatives who will read it.

The local papers for Tillicoultry are the Alloa Advertiser and the Wee County News.

I live 2 miles away from Tillicoultry and know lots of people locally.

If you can add to your question more info on who you're looking for I will do my best to put you in touch with them or their family.

Further info:
These are the only Lookers in this area - none of them are in Tillicoultry:

JAMES LOOKER 29 CARRONSIDE STREET FALKIRK FK2 7QA

JOHN LOOKER 25 MAIN STREET LARBERT STIRLINGSHIRE FK5 4AB

J LOOKER 2 COTKERSE COTTAGES BLAIRLOGIE STIRLING FK9 5QE

CHRISTINA LOOKER 25 MAIN STREET LARBERT STIRLINGSHIRE FK5 4AB

ELSPETH LOOKER 12 NORTH STREET FALKIRK FK2 7NG

Blairlogie is the closest to Tillicoultry - about 3 miles away, so might be an idea to start with that one.

Good luck.

I don't know the name of the local paper but the Daily Record and the Sunday Post both cover this area and have the kind of feature you want.
