I did the search thing for women my age, but all I keep finding are women with half their clothes on, laying on a bed or squatting on the floor...and all I can say is YIKES to some of them, And WOW to the others!

I am a 41 year old mom and grandmother who is looking to add some 'friends' to my 360. So if you have any of these interests, please look me up:
Family - teenagers and above & grandchildren
Reading - Anything by Nicholas Sparks or James Patterson
Music - I Love Cher, but I really like all kinds of music
Outdoors - Like to hike, sit in our gazebo, lay in the hammock,
Friends - I have a group of about 4 friends that I cherish
Work - outside the home for a HR/Payroll Outsourcing company

I'll share mine: I was in one of those long executive meetings with people from marketing and accounting. As ususal, most of the marketing people were quite attractive and accountants weren't. At one point, someone let out a mean fart. It was sooooo mean everyone ran for the door. Everyone, except one ugly woman who insisted on the fact that we all should stay in order to continue without interruptions. Obviously, everyone put the blame on her for who would wanna stay in a stinky room if not the generator of the fart? After them meeting was over, a gorgeous girl (who was a good friend) tolde me it had been her.

You had it out with a friend, were not able to resolve differences because they were not willing. You decided it would be best to stop all communication with them and do not speak to them to this day, vice versa. You later see a friend of theirs who gives you a wierd look and refuses to speak to you, but did before this happened. The sister of the friend you had it out with now just keeps looking/staring at you. You carry about 35-40% of the blame for the argument but gave your friend every chance to tell you there was something wrong and try to work this out. What in the world is going on!!!!!! Why does it seem like I am being named as the bad person.

Last Friday night a bunch of my friends and I went out to eat. Jessikah (my best friend) went too. Things started getting stirred up and supposibly someone made a rumor up about someone not wanting her there. She left and told me we should hang out the next day. I messaged her and she said she didn't want to hang out and she was in a bad mood. She always seems to bail out on me but she's been through a lot (parents divorcing) and I've given her space. I tried to call her but she didn't pick up. She picked up the phone, cussed me out and said she didn't want to deal with my ****. I said nothing except she needs to stop moping around. I've been there for her countless times and a heck of a lot more than she has for me. Should I wait for her apology or try to work something out? We've been best friends since middle school...but its not my fault and I'm tired of being the one that always apologizes even when its not my fault. Serious answers only...

I mean, many times, while riding in a car, gross as it may sound, if one in the bunch (be it males or females) rips a fart, everyone finds it quite funny, how do you personally feel about it? Let's avoid answers like gross! or, stinks! Be original

There are some coworkers of mine who I confide in and I tell them about my personal problems however it seems like they go behind my back and talk about my problems to other people who should not know what is going on.This has resulted for me not to have any kind of relationship with my coworkers
To mention other cases;I have a hard time trying to trust others because of events that had happend to me in my past( people deceiving me,back stabbed)
I am married to a wonderful man who I trust dearly and I do not have many friends. What approach can I use to start trusting people again?

I've been pondering why all the people i consider as close friends as well as aquaintances never seem to call/ email me check how I am arrange outings etc
It always is the case where i'd have to contact them To prove my theory usually i'd try to keep in contact with them on a fortnightly basis due to my busy work schedule i stopped calling everyone for a month but no calls/emails sms's whatsoever
So if i make the effort what reason would they have for not doing so in return?

A friend of mine had a housewarming type thing and he invited his coworkers. This hot girl was there and we talked for most of the night and I even saw her stare at me from the distance, just like kept staring with this look in her eye. She would even end her statements with "hmm" or "mmm hmm".
Then I was leaving,
She said "Aww, you're leaving" and I tried talking to her some more but I had to go. Then I contemplated to myself , "Did I blow it?"
To tell you the truth, even though I was attracted to her, I didn't muster up enough guts to ask for her number.....I usually have no problem talking to women. I get nervous at times, but we all do.

Do you think I should have trusted my intuition that didn't propel me to say anything else to her and move on, or blame myself for missing out on a romantic opportunity.

For the record though, any time I missed out on an opportunity with a woman, I realize that I was nuts have made sucha big deal

Okay. So my friend is OBSESSED WITH BOYS. I didn't like her in the first place because she basically lied 24/7. Anyways, she is getting more and more on my nerves.
I am a nice person and have no clue what to say. She is a BAD PERSON.
1. she cusses
2. she is only like 12 or 13 and she's NOT a virgin
3. she is like eww
4. she lies
5. she duzn't brush her teeth
6. she takes showers every 2 days
7. she says she's rich but she has stains all over her clothes
8. she lied about getting a record deal
and all these other things
what do i say?

BTW, my friend knew I liked her but when I asked if he could mention something to her at work, like ask her about me he was like "I can;t do that dude".
Apparently he said that it wasn't professional. I've known him for 13 years and even though we weren't always close, I kind of find that a little bit of a bad excuse.....People do a lot worse at work that ask someone about someone else to gget answers.....

In college, a friend of mine asked if I could walk this girl he knew home, that was severely SMASHED.......so I did, I was leaving anyway, but didn't want to.

Anyways, I was going to just bring her to the door of her dorm and she would have been on her way to her room, safe. She's walking all over the place, ****** up and she runs over to this guy she knows before I get to hold on to her, and he gives her a piggy back ride where he trips on something and she fall face first onto the pavement. She's bleeding all over her mouth, unconscious and myself and a couple people nearby she knew all took care of her as we brought her to get washed up at a house where we knew the people that was nearby and also to her room. I wanted to bring her to the hospital (I didnt' have a car), but she was eventually brought at the end of the night, I don't know why sooner, but she was up and around and upset over the marks on her face. I blame myself. Those marks took a long time to heal.

Okay. So I'm a freshman in high school, and I have a small group of friends, who really aren't that nice to me. So I'm thinking of making new friends. There's this new girl, who seems really nice, and is soooooooo much like me! She likes similar bands, horseback riding, dresses like me, so I think we would get along. Problem is, I was about to sit with her in lunch, but my ex-friend, a girl i can't STAND, plopped down instead. I mean, I guess I could be friends with her again, but she won't want to be friends with me because of what my sister said about her. ANyway, how could I make friends with this new girl?
