In college, a friend of mine asked if I could walk this girl he knew home, that was severely SMASHED.......so I did, I was leaving anyway, but didn't want to.

Anyways, I was going to just bring her to the door of her dorm and she would have been on her way to her room, safe. She's walking all over the place, ****** up and she runs over to this guy she knows before I get to hold on to her, and he gives her a piggy back ride where he trips on something and she fall face first onto the pavement. She's bleeding all over her mouth, unconscious and myself and a couple people nearby she knew all took care of her as we brought her to get washed up at a house where we knew the people that was nearby and also to her room. I wanted to bring her to the hospital (I didnt' have a car), but she was eventually brought at the end of the night, I don't know why sooner, but she was up and around and upset over the marks on her face. I blame myself. Those marks took a long time to heal.

This was every body's fault. Depends on what kind of party it was. Especially the guy carrying her piggy back. First of all respectable friends would never have let the party get so out of hand. Everybody knew that she was smashed. She was to blame for getting herself in this predicament. I hoped this taught her a valuable lesson. Maybe she will learn to find better friends to hang out with and quit going to parties of this sort.

You did the right thing by getting her to her dorm. It was her fault she mounted the other guy and got her face smashed in.

It's not your fault she got trashed and didn't arrange a designated driver to take her home. If it makes you feel better, buy her some of that anti-scar cream along with a stuffed animal and get-well card. :-)

You tried your hardest to look after her, and what happened was Her own fault. She was the one that was so drunk she couldn't make good decisions. She was the one that tipped the alcohol down her throat. So try not to feel too bad about it.

It's her own fault. Don't blame yourself for her own mistakes.

it's not your fault at all, it's her fault for drinking so much and not being responsible
