Yes, it is. A feeling of security. Especially knowing that you have someone to stick by you through thick and thin, no matter what.

yes.... i've had my good and bad times with them... they have been there always and i have been there for them too... they saved me before i fell hard. i've had a bad history since i was in elementary... @sses seem to follow me around.... well the internet is a little bit too virtual to let myself slip back into the dark place in my history.... but yes. I know how it feels to have true friends. I do feel blessed because of them and they are my true greatest gift in life. And if my friends are reading this right now I want to say they will always be my greatest gift. Forever. ;)

you left out the word "rare" in your question. through the years we all make friends who are gifts to our souls or bless us in some way. that's how it's meant to be!....but RARE is the friend who covers our butts in a jam, helps us hide the bodies, and sticks around when we're contagious!.........lol
