I have a feeling you are just getting homesick. There are good people in Canada too. Go to the library, out for coffee at a coffee house or join a church there. In any case say hi to a lot of people and always smile. Good luck and keep your chin up. There are good people around you, you just need to look some more.

People can make friends anywhere you just have to try. Go to new places & just start conversation with people. Try to be outgoing. I've lived in Canada for like ever & I've never had a problem in my life with meeting friends.

Be patient. Friends come with time....you earn a friend and that relation takes time to grow.
I have a good friend in my Mother and my Father and there is one more and I have known him for 30 years. We grew up together and that is special to me,.
