There's a girl in my office who curently with another co-worker but, he's with other girls and I know one in particular and he use(d) to abuse her very badly. I know while but I taught I found the right time to tell her because, she claim the were over but It wasn't true. Question about closeness and moving from friendship to more!!!!??????
I have this best friend, I'm a guy, she's a girl, we are 15 and have known each other for 2 years. When we hang out in a group, we are always standing close to each other. We playfully fight with and mock each other all the time. She calls me Reilly, even tho everyone else calls me by my first name and if they call me Reilly she gets anoyed. We are very comfortable with each other. On a couch we sorta lean into each other, anyway, I am pretty sure now that she likes me, an I know I like her, A Lot, so what should I do next? Should I test the waters by hugging her? An arm round the shoulder or waist? Any advice?

Specifically I want to know what I should do next and how.

I have had a friend for over 14 years and he recently seems like he is acting differently. I recenlty got married and just bought a home. He is 35 and I am 32. I went to college with the guy and lately he has been slandering me and making lies about me as if he is still in high school. He has been acting this way more as of late. I am not sure if its because I have moved forward with my life and he hasnt. He is a major alcoholic who spends every night at the bar getting drunk and is involved with a 20 year old crack phene who he cant seem to let go. He also doesnt really work and spends most of his time frequenting dive bars during the week and weekends. I havent hung out with him as much because of his behaviors and I dont like going to bars with him and watching him get wasted. He wont go anywhere with me unless its a bar or a place thats serves alcohol. Should I try and work this out? He is a very defensive person. I want to keep the friendship but is it worth it in your opinion?

i'm quite an organised and hard working person and as i can manage my own time etc quite well so i often take on doing things for friends and family as well.

i rarely ask anyone to do anything for me as i've usually done it days in advance anyway, but i have a lot going on in my life right now and the tables are turned. I've asked a couple of people for help but either they are too busy or say yes but then let me down.

4 days ago i asked a friend to do a favour for me which would only take a couple of minutes which they happily agreed to do.
i waited a couple of days and it didn't happen so i mentioned it again (as it needed doing fairly urgently). in one conversation i suggested i could find another way round it if they were too busy but they said no, no they can do it. they never did it.

they called me today and i explained that i am stressed and have too much to do and they said "if there is anything i can do just let me know"! i felt like saying I DID AND YOU DIDN'T!!

when me and my ex broke-up it was mutual, we were going to stay friends, but i started seeing someone. then he calls me and tells me that my best friend was calling me a sl** becuase of what i did. so then i called her and she said she didnt say that so she calls him on 3-way(i was suppose to be quiet)but she asks him about itand he says"shes a lying *****, blah blah. so then i said you better tell her the truth and he hung up. he completely ruined any friendship we might have ever had. do you guys know why anyone would ever do that?

I have a friend who i have been friends with for a long time. she's the kind of person who doesnt take s h i t from guys. about 2 and a half years ago she met this guy and apparently fell in love. he's a dog because we found him cheating on her twice and he gave her 3 std's. but she still loves him and goes back to him every time. they also have a child together. am i wrong for being upset with her because when she "left him" i helped her and she moved back with him.

Ok this is'nt that big a deal but basically I have a friend coming over later who I used to go to school with and just now she texted me to ask if another friend could also come as well. But the problem is that I don't get on with her (the other friend) at all and I don't know how to say politely to my friend that I don't want the other girl to come!! What should I say so as not to offend my friend???!!!! Also because my phone is broken I can't text her so I would have to call her and tell her it directly!!!

i was talking to this close male friend online last night (no he's not a stranger, he's a legit friend) and he said something to me in one go which i couldnt understand....something very unusual

this is pretty much what he said:

"got to go now, love you...if i could i would.....but i cant....because....doesnt matter - bye"

Now im starting to think he's being a little....odd - i mean he never says "love you" when he's leaving a convo ever!

Okay, i think im being paranoid and i should drop it....What do you think?
