so one day i gathered myself up and told this guy that i liked him and hes all oh we should go out sometime. next thing i know my best friend runs up to me and tells me he asked her out. im so confused. im a little mad but im trying so hard to not let it ruin our friendship. she knows how i feel about him but she keeps telling me oh he did this, we did that, hes amazing, and all that. what am i supposed to do??

My friend came back to school after the holidays, and I knew her parents had broke up, and her little brother had died of cancer, and she had all these cuts all over her arms. I asked her what they were and she told me she cut herself. I was horrified, but she just said it takes away the pain. She tells me she does it every weekend, and I really want to help her. Please give me some suggestions. And don't suggest to leave her and stop being her friend, because we r going to stay friends. We are both 14.

She misssed a lot of school days toward the end of the year and she recently told me that she has been sleeping with her boyfriend. We are only in the 8th grade and a lot of people have been telling me that she is pregnant. When I asked her about she totally blew me off. Should I talk to her parents?? I don't want to be a snitch or get her in trouble. She is my friend and I just don't want her to throw away her future by having a kid so early. She picks with me cause my boyfriend and I aren't having sex. I told her if she's pregnant she better tell her mom and dad or I will. Do you think I'm wrong???

like my brother will start by saying something like "haha, u look funny" and then my mom will tell him to stop, but then he won't and she'll start joining in and making fun of me and my body!! then after i get really upset and start crying and leave the room they're jus like "come on back we were just kidding". but i repeatedly tell them that it's NOT FUNNY. and i have really bad self-image issues anyway, and what they're doing is not helping. even my dad was in on it today, so i had the whole family staring at me and laughing.
help??

over the yrs i have thought about it but have never acted on it... life sucks at times but i could never do that to my family... However if i ever was to do it.. i would take alot of pills, go in the shower and slit my wrists.. the running water would wash away any mess.. what would be your demise?.. (sorry if this is too morbid or intense of a question.) I'm sure there are many others whom have had this effect theirs lives..

My oldest Brother and oldest sister tried, but failed..(thank God) I cannot tell you the trauma it causes to those around you..

I guess fear is what keeps all of us from doing it
and the love our family..

when my friend borrowed US 1 dollar for paying the transportation fee for our eating-out,and i lended that amount of money.then she said she'd return money on Monday. however, she didn't return money for that amount and scolded me that i didn't trust her . other friends of mine thought that it wasn't necessary to ask for money,and implied that we didn't want to be your friends if you required to return your money back! what should i do?

My ex and I used to ALWAYS get in fights after we broke up. Finally we started getting along, and a few nights in a row i would call him and say do you want to come to the movies and invite friends? He was hanging out with friends and as a joke I sent him a text saying 'Tell your hottie friends to come meet us downtown. Oh you can come too.' I didn't expect him to get mad at me considering he knew I was sarcastic all the time with him, but he did. He got really mad, he said 'No **** you you use me to hang out with my friends.' I said back 'Well if you think that stop talking to me.' and he did, now I feel horrible. I really want to talk to him too and say sorry because he was a really good friend. Should I keep the silent treatment going or just say sorry?

My 18 year old son is worried about a friend that has talked about suicide. I have told him to talk to the friend's parents and that I would talk with them too if he wanted but he didn't. He did talk to the parents but he is leaving for the military soon and is worried that the person might kill themself after he leaves. He is losing alot of sleep over this and I am worried not only about him and his friend, but also his unwillingness to communicate with me about it. What would you do??

it's like this, there's this girl, lets say her name is 'S'. she was our friend and the new girl at school after me. if it wouldn't for us, she wouldn't have any friends until now. she ditch us for the other cool girls becos she was accepted to hang out with them, so she don't wanna hang with us becos she think we are not cool.. what she didn't know is, the cool girls are my friends.. they told us how S backstab us from the back and say that she hate me the most.. now, the cool girls ditch her and she want to hang out with us back... she did this last time but then she ditch us again.. how could i trust her now? should i accept her again.. she did say that she hate me the most.. i didn't even do anything to her.. but now, she say that she didn't hate me, she wants to be my bestfriend forever? should i trust her again? after she ditch us twice and she says bad thing and spread bad rumor about us...

This guy we were sorta together um i dunno a little while ago and he'd said he loved me and ya no we were great and then i didnt see him for a month or so and my best mate came to me and said that he didnt want me nemore and that he'd moved on. but on the weekend just gone we were together and we were laughin and havin fun and i had the best time and we hooked up sat nite but i dunno wat to do about my mate and this guy caus i dunno wat the go is and im really confused, is she lying? or does he only want one thing from me? ............ confused
