Friends - June 2006

My hubby's best friend lives two hours away from us. He called this morning, and my hubby found out that he is now sleeping with a married woman.

When my hubby and this man met, he was married. We have seen him through his divorce, two girlfriends, and now this situation. My hubby wants to end the 5 year friendship, since now he can't trust him to be alone with me. (I think he's a walking AIDS virus, so even if I was single, lonely, aroused, and drunk, nothing would happen) He has other problems as well, like drinking and smoking pot.

Should I encourage my hubby to end the friendship, or just let him decide what to do on his own?

One of my best friends is in love with another one of our mutual friends. He cant seem to get over her and she's plainly stated many times she only loves him like a brother and doesn't want to have a romantic relationship whth him. It's become kind of pathetic. Everyone in my life tell me I am closed of when it comes to emotions. I am not a very demonstrative person and it drives the people around me crazy. My mom and sisters always want to hug and kiss me and i let them do it but i don't return the affection. I love them but don't like to tell them. it drives guys crazy. i don't mind cuddling in private but i am not into big public displays of emotions. I didn't cry at my brothers funeral and my family was angry over that. I miss him and I cried but not where anyone could see me. How do i become more lovey dovey so my family and boyfriend can get off of my back?

My finace' sister who is a little over 50, very sweet loving person, everyone can't help but love has been in a battle with stomach cancer for over a year now, and they are stopping the kemo, and giving her 3-6 months to live. Her mother died of the same thing when she was young, it is not fair to her beautiful daughter and granddaughter or 18 months. Plus I don't know if my finace' will be able to handle it. I am worried he will fall off the wagon, and that will be another tragedy. Please prove the power of prayer to help her get better. Her name is Brenda and we live in the USA . My friend never has a boy friend but she gets crushes on everyone. She has me speak to guys for her and they all say they would never want to go out with her. The reasons they give me are that she is rude, crude to loud and two guys said she has an odor. I don't want to hurt her feelings but when I try to speak to her she says its my fault they won't go out with her, that I am saying the wrong things to them because I am jealous. I have no problems getting dates so thats not it. how do I handle this? I am tired of being in the middle should i let the guys tell her themselves?

I'm Palestinian.
Israeli army bombed our village 2 days a go by guided missile. I was in Beirut at that time. many peoples died and injury including my mother and my 8 years old sister. She is dying now at hospital.
I don't know what should i do with this anger and sadness,
I just wanna her back.

I went into work today to a very large project due in a couple of days. I had every intention of getting it half done but due to problems with almost every printer we had I only got a little done and there is still much to be done that the other employee will have to finish up. I was busy nonstop with customers , taking orders, faxing, shipping, stocking, cashiering, and being extra courteous to customers because of the spy shoppers. I know my boss will hit the ceiling when she comes in and sees that I barely done any of the project. I tried very hard and tried various copiers , they kept breaking down, and well I got what I got done. I worked 6 hours with no break or anything so what more could I have done. Am I just not very efficient or did I have to much to do for one person?
