I knew an Ann Rutherford that was in the military back in 1985. I went to boot camp with her. Doubtful that it is your Annie, but the name jumped out at me none the less!

You know darn well you are going to get people to answer just for the two points..... but that is not why I am doing it.

I am writing to tell you that there are "other yahoo answerers" that will use your question to answer for the points. Therefore, stating that they shouldn't answer, simply implants the idea in the brain (hence the other answerer's answer).

I am serious when I say this. I would either use zabasearch.com or anywho.com. I have recently been looking for someone and I got this advice and it worked! also, you can look up the state website and see if those people own property in the state that they are in, if you know. Look at the state assessor's website which you should be able to get to from the state website.
