Would you rather have a career that allowed you to make a lot of money ($80K + a year) so your family could be comfortable and afford all the modern conveniences in life or a job that allowed you to have enough time off to spend with your family and only make a modest living ($35-55K a year)
Which do you think would be better and why?

I'd have to go with the modest living - you can't buy relationships with your family. Being able to have time to yourself and with your family, and do things with them is priceless. Making a lot of money won't do you any good if you have no time to spend with your family.

35-55k a year doing my passion the career i love most
well i mean what has this earth got for me that is so important more important than my family
if i buy a BENZ or a BMW its not gonna make me happy

I would like to make a modest living,that way i can still spend some time with my kids they are only young once.

Time... Money can't buy time back. To me 55k is still a lot of money for one to bring in.

i would rather be happy with the ones i love..... if making less money would make that so then i would choose that but it having a better job would mean i would be working more and away from them i wouldnt be able todo it......
