when my friend borrowed US 1 dollar for paying the transportation fee for our eating-out,and i lended that amount of money.then she said she'd return money on Monday. however, she didn't return money for that amount and scolded me that i didn't trust her . other friends of mine thought that it wasn't necessary to ask for money, and implied that we didn't want to be your friends if you required to return your money back! what should i do?

Never lend money. You should always give the money with no strings attached just for this reason. Upsetting relationships over money is not worth the trouble. So only let someone have the money if you can afford to do without it. plus it will make you feel better knowing you helped someone out who was having difficulty. If they happen to repay, then that is just a bonus for you. Let the money go and don't look or ask for it. See it as giving a gift.

one dollar doesn't seem like an awful lot of money to be getting worked up over. However, I don't know your financial situation. So my advice, is forget the dollar, it's not worth the trouble you're getting into to get it back. Just don't lend out money.

one dollar let it go.......but if you are doing it for the priciple and don't want to be taken advantage of I believe she should pay back.
