My ex and I used to ALWAYS get in fights after we broke up. Finally we started getting along, and a few nights in a row i would call him and say do you want to come to the movies and invite friends? He was hanging out with friends and as a joke I sent him a text saying 'Tell your hottie friends to come meet us downtown. Oh you can come too.' I didn't expect him to get mad at me considering he knew I was sarcastic all the time with him, but he did. He got really mad, he said 'No **** you you use me to hang out with my friends.' I said back 'Well if you think that stop talking to me.' and he did, now I feel horrible. I really want to talk to him too and say sorry because he was a really good friend. Should I keep the silent treatment going or just say sorry?

Tell him he has really thin skin and a shallow personality and if he does not want to be your friend you will sue him. Oh yeah......call him by the wrong name too!

I'd let a few days go by and then I'd text him to say you are sorry. In the future, ignore his sarcasm and keep yours to yourself. There's nothing more precious than a good friend. If all you two can do is quibble about every little thing, then just split. Maybe you'll get back together when you are a bit more mature. Decide what you want--to quibble or to have a friend. Bite your tongue sometimes, count to 10 before you respond or say, I'll get back to you on that." Good luck.

Its never bad to say you are sorry and the quicker you do, the better. Thinking of others more highly than you think of yourself. is the key. Don't let a little unhappy moment sink a lifetime of friendship. Tell him the whole story and say you are sorry for being insensitive.

Say sorry, but not in person in a text message, phone call, or AIM in the computer... if u say it in person... well, he might still be mad but i think u should say sorry and tell him u were being sarcastic.

tell him you are sorry you ment it as a joke you thought he would realize it and that you don't find his freinds atractive. it sounds like you still like each other so if you do you should tell him you were trying to see if he liked you still because you want him back. JUST SAY SORRY.

Apologize. =^)
