I have independent studies so it's hard to meet new people...
the only time I make new friends is by being my boyfriends friends...

Find something that you enjoy doing, that the sort of people you want to meet might enjoy doing, and for which there is some sort of club, group, or other social event that you can go to regularly and where you will get to talk to people. This could be anything from a chess club to a sports bar, a paintball group to a church social. The key parts are that there is some excuse to meet new people, some shared interest to break the ice, and that you go there regularly, at least once a week or so. Then go to it, do whatever you enjoy, and interact with other people who like doing it. After a while, you'll get to know people, and with any luck some of them will be people you want as friends.

Try to get involved in a hobby that is social where you can meet new people. You might also want to get involved in your community sports teams - that way you will meet a bunch of people and have some fun at the same time.

dont go out of your way just to make a new friend try helping someone in need or joining a club that holds one of your intrests but dont by any means be some you arnt to impress someone in the longrun you befriend the wrong people

just go out to place's where u could meet new people, like clubs or party's and just go up to some one and start talking then maybe u will make a friend. what do u have to lose. if they don't like u then u never have to see them agian, and if they do like u then u have a new friend. just go out there and be ur self.

try to go online and start chatting with people if you like the way they sound and talk on line then give them your email address or even put on the question that you are how ever old and wanna have a pin pal and put your email address thats what my girl did before and it really works hope i helped you
