I was snooping around my little sister's facebook and found pictures of her drunk and drinking out vodka bottles, I am really concerned about this b/c she is only 16 yrs old! It's not just that she's drinking that bothers me, but our father is a recovering alcoholic and I just don't want to see her go down that road. Should I rat her out to my mom or would that make me a terrible sister?

Today, some classmates were having a group studying section so I join them. They were asking each other questions and someone would answer it.

I didn't do my homework. So, some girl was saying statement about number 2 question. She said, "Inferrior to maxilla..." I didn't hear what she said before so my dumbazz self replied by saying, "Oh, my answer was inferrior to maxilla too." Opps, the question was "What is inferrior to maxilla?"

I am so stupid. I should've NOT join that group of conversation since I didn't study. ughhhh I hate myself for that embrassment.

How to recover from such an embrassment situation? I have to see them tomorrow?

I recently got involved with a guy, and he just happen to be recovering from a battle with Cancer. We had the most amazing connection, more than I have ever felt with anyone else...i could tell he felt it too. He got really ill from a round of chemo for about 4 days, and totally changed towards me. I know i can't possibly understand what he's going thru but I feel so lost and he won't let me in to help. We had said we were together but now i dont know...he said he needs to focus on getting better. I get that but I don't know to think, and i don't want to bother him with my little issue. It seems so small compared to what he is going thru.... please offer honest advice

The best looking guy I have ever seen had black hair and piercing water green eyes. He had the sexiest stare I have ever seen. His hair was kind of long and he had a rock star vibe with silver earings and some rings on his fingers. I am sure he was a musician. He was built and average height. that if a man really loves them, then he would not have a desire to cheat? When in fact a man proves he loves a woman by having the desire but he chooses not to act on the desire.

It seems that some women are such self-absorbed control freaks that they think they can actually control a man's desire. "If he really loved me he wouldn't have the need to cheat, if he desires to cheat then there must be something wrong with the relationship"...keep believing that.

I have done everything in the world for my step-children, yet they despise me, which they tell me all the time. Their mother left them when they were toddlers and their father and I are all they have. I just bought them brand new bikes, take them any where they want to go, and help with home work, yet they still hate me.. I think its because I am strict. I need advice, thank you so much!! long story short, my problem is, my (formerly best) friend thought i called my dear friend a homo. when i really said Lomo. now she is constantly calling her a homo! it really hurts me on the inside, and i dont know what to do. see, it is like your friend calling your other friend a homo infront of you and behind their back. i cant even get her to stop! what do i do? not being friends with her isnt an option.

So Im tutoring high school kids, I had one new girl last week that I saw, everything seemed to go fine. However I get told by the company that her mum said that they want someone different. Her mum was really picky, she pretty much interogated me on the phone, she kept asking if I thought I would be capable, I kept saying yes it will be fine.

I think she misinterpreted me, I am pretty easy going and laid back and she is picky, uptight and stressed. I think she misinterpreted this as me not really caring about her daughter. Even though I do care, but she is only paying $25 an hour and this is not my fulltime job, she knows I go to uni full time so she cant expect me to be an expert in English, I can just do the best I can, which is what I try to do.

By the way where I live $25 an hour is not much for a tutor, most will charge $50 an hour.

Anyway my question is can people misinterperate being easy going as not caring or capable of handling something?

i really like this girl and weve hung out like 4 times now and hooked up a few times as well. the 1st time we hung out thru a friend i clearly got the feeling that she liked me but we didnt do anything. the next 2 times we hung out we just chilled and we hooked up. i really like her and i guess she likes me. sometimes she comes on AIM but only for a few minutes at a time and were both on and we dont really talk and if we do its nothing more then the usual hey whats up and that and then its like over cuz we dont know eachother real well and have nothing to talk about. the only problem really is that she never initiates anything like the call or the instant msg. when i ask her to chill on the weekends i think its clear she wants it to be me and her and shes 0/3 on getting a friend for one of my friends and she came up with the ideas for us to go out to dinner together or see a movie.i think it looks pretty good and im prob just paranoid, but then again y doesn she ever IM me or call?

So I've known this girl (who happens to be in my circle of friends) for about 3-4 years, but we never really talked untill the beginning of this school year. We've hung out a bit but with a small group of friends, nothing remotely serious. However, since I started talking to her I get half-smirks in the hallway and she will talk with me every once in a while.

Maybe I'm overreacting (I have the same effect on other people), but do you think I should ask her out? Possibly wait another year or so?

I'm rather mature, and this isn't one of those "OMG, she's so hot!" kinda infatuations. Rather I enjoy her company and wish to be by her side when she needs me. I can be fun to be around sometimes, but often times I am too quiet and not much of a social person. This stops me from casually talking to most people.

Anyways, serious replies are appreciated. However if you come up with a witty way to dis me or something, I might give you a thumbs up.

I like a guy and he likes me back but everytime we talk, we have this awkward moment where we dont know what to say. I got married my senior yr in HS, was married 10 yrs, have 4 kids by her. She left me on the twins 1st BD. On my own for 3 yrs, got remarried for 4 yrs. Divorced again. Have dated a few people after that. I met someone in a chat room. The room I frequented, has chat room parties every month. That way, you get a chance to meet the people you talk to. So I met this woman and fell in love with her on site. We talked and started dating. Unfortunatly, we live 250 miles apart. I would visit her every couple of weekends and soon was EVERY weekend. We got really close. I even dropped everything in my life to move in with her. But.... Neither one of us was ready to get back in a relationship and I moved back home. We attempted to get back together once more The distance was a problem for her, even though I was the one to make the trip. This woman gave me the ability to KNOW what unconditional love is. It's been 3 yrs since I have seen her but my love for her has never changed.
