lols i no how u feel. its like guys are suppose to break the ice rite? but not all guys r like that. its frustrating especialli wen u realli like them and u wanna show him how u realli r instead of showing this quiet, shy girl. dont worry, if he realli likes u, he'll understand and u're relationship will get better over time. maybe u can ask him to hang out with u and your friends. that way u wont be so tense and can be @ease and the guy will see how u really r. hope my advice helps :D

If you like him you'd better make a change, and quickly! Or you will lose him! Take charge and make sure that you make your time together fun! Treat him like he's your best friend, don't talk about feelings and relationships, just have fun! Play thumb wrestling or something when things get boring, that doesn't require a whole lot of talking and it'll breakup the awkwardness of the moment. Do things together you both enjoy, just like you would with a good friend.

I am having the same issue. I'm sure that it happens to everyone, so don't feel bad! No two people can constantly be conversing with each other. Maybe you should go and and do an activity where you have to be loud so he can see your "loud" side as opposed to your quiet side. Maybe go to a basktetball or hockey game! Lots of cheering!

Awkward moments like that are usually a good sign. Don't sweat it. Try not to overthink things and just let the conversations flow. Don't beat yourself up over it.

I think the best thing to do is to go on your dates with him to places that have activity going on such as bowling, skating, dancing, or even going to the movies and that way you don't have to talk so much. If that doesn't work just think of interesting questions to ask him about himself and let him do the talking as most people love to talk about themselves....questions like what are your hobbies?....what sign are you? what are your favorite foods?..... You get the idea.

silence isn't a problem if you're truly friends...or truly like each other...you can't fill every moment with a word...sometimes it's nice to be quiet..

Just explain to him that you like him and it makes you nervous when you are around him. Tell him when you get to know him more and feel comfortable you will be comfortable being yourself. He should understand, hes probably in a shell around you as well.

just tolerate the silence and look straight into his eyes.
think to yourself...I am connecting to him nonverbally.
try to connect to his soul through his eyes. there is no
need to say words. you can smile.

Just put it out there politely, "what is the silence between us??" you might get him to blush and then you say thanks, that means I have made you speechless, and start the conversation yourself.
