i had my first time sex a couple of days ago.. we used a condom.. but a couple of hours ago i was bleeding but now it has stopped.. is the bleeding caused by the breakage of my hymen? is it possible to bleed now even when my hymen was broken a couple of days ago? please help im starting to worry.. im 17..

It very well could be residual blood from your broken hymen.I would give it another day and see what happens.If it continues to bleed I would go see a doctor.Don't panic,every females body reacts differently.

Congrats! Well, the bleeding is caused by the breaking of the hymen. Try talking to your mom or doctor about this. It is normal to bleed, because the hymen is like a "wall" and the penis is pushing through causing it to "break"

Its normal to bleed the first few times you have sex, due to the hymen tearing.. dont worry about it..

Im wondering why some people on here is congratulating you on having sex for the first time at 17...(nothing to be proud of) of course its from the hymen being broken... and if ur so scared for that...im wondering how u feel when the condom breaks.... and ur going to wonder all month if ur pregnant.... be careful....

Go to a gyno. If you're not already going to one you NEED to. Not just because of the bleeding but so you can get on birth control and have a PAP Smear.
I don't know about your bleeding though. I didn't bleed at all my first time, but I know that that's not normal. It doesn't sound right that you should still be bleeding. Maybe the tearing was scabbing and you just broke it back open? I def. think you should go to a Gyno though.

I wouldn't worry too much!!! Congrats by the way! I'd say that you can bleed right after or even a few days after!! No worries, but I would try to get on BC for the future!

when i lost mine "V" i was 18, and i did bleed...like spotting for a day or so. BUt it stopped, i also had some spotting the second time we had sex.
if its alot, maybe u can go to a planned parenthood clinic or something get some professional help

you might bleed off and on for a few days. but dont worry it will heal quickly, and you can start again
