Earlier in the beginning of the school year I noticed a good looking boy named Jose who came from Mexico (legally) 3 years ago. (His english wasn't great, but he can speak pretty well and understand well) Two months later he asked me out on a date. We dated 2-3 more times, and one night he took me out to a park and told me to close my eyes then suprised me with a teddy bear holding a rose, and asked me to be his girlfriend. We've been dating for 5 months now, and in the past 2 months it seems as if we never talk. If I see him in the hallways I have to initiate the conversation, he never calls me, never attempts to try to find me in the hallways after class, never asks me to do anything anymore. I'm kinda scared that my friend whom i most of my time with has gotten between us, or we have major culural differences. I've asked him why he doesn't talk to me, and he says he understands why i would be upset cause he knows he doesnt and that he'll change, but he never does. Any advice?

I've known him very closely for over a year and the other day he told me that he loves me on the phone.

we spent 2 hours talking about how he's fallen for me, and how he missed me so much when i stopped talking to him for like 2 months because of an argument, and how he "really really likes me" and then i let him down gently. When i asked him if this was a sick joke, he said "do i ever speak like this with you ever? no, so yes, im not joking"

and then, after those 2 hours, he ended up saying "you know what, you're going to hate me because this was all a joke, i needed research for a song im going to write..."

and yesterday, when i asked him about this so called song, he claimed that he gave up writing it.

Honestly, i think that he was being genuine when he said that he loves me, but then when i spoke to him afterwards, he also seemed genuine about how it was all a joke - so now i cant think whether he does have feelings for me...

I am a full time student and a full time single mom of two. I also work 20-32 hours a week and am in a serious relationship. Naturally as a college student I have alot of homework and as a mom I have a house to clean, meals to fix, and baths to give. Also, I am trying to get back into shape to increase my health and set a good example for my girls. I have a hard time managing my time. It is very important that I spend quality time with my kids everynight. How can I schedule my time better to meet everyones needs and not be overwhelmed.

can u be friends w/ an ex? my ex and i broke up 1 and a half years ago but we've hooked up since then, but he maintains he has no feelings for me, but he charms me every time! we've always agreed to leave it as just friends (which isn't what i want, but iv really got no choice) but we still hook up after a while. he goes through phases where he wants to hook up...i dunno. i still really want him and no matter how much it hurts i always give in. his actions aren't consistent w/ what he's saying he feels. I can't help but notice that the first answer for most of these questions regarding problems in a marriage boils down to things like "Get a divorce" or "leave" or "kick them out" or "give an ultimatum". When people take their marriage vows, they vow "For better or worse", so why is everybody so ready to call it quits (or to tell somebody else to) when "worse" comes along? Life is NOT a fairytale and nobody is perfect...
