I'm like this.
I generally reply stright away to my missus, but for other people I tend to read the text, then I think "oh, I'll reply to that in a mo" but then i forget & 2 days later get a call from the person who text me giving me a barrage of abuse about being an ignorant fu*ker and I'm like "What? You nev.... oh yeah, you did text me, didnt you?!?"
I also rarely answer my phone when people call me - whilst I have a sh!tload of ringtones, I find them really annoying & so constantly have my phone on silent, when I see I have a missed call I have use the same train of thought as I do when I have a text message.

They pretend that the text is not too important and can wait. But the whole time they are thinking about when and what to answer. Boys love to play games, just like when they take 3 days to call back a girl that they really like, they just want to look mysterious and very busy (although they are not).

Perhaps they think that a text is not important as it is so impersonal. Women on the other hand cannot wait to put their word in. If I received a text from a female friend I would ignore it. If she wishes to contact me why not actually speak.

It's another thing to do and we all know men are not capable of doing more than one thing at a time. Us girls are just the best at communicating with each other, so texts just flow. Men have to think and text. Tricky business.

All the men I know - apart from teenagers - HATE texting and think it's a mindless girlie thing. If they want to tell me something they call me. Maybe your male friends are fed up of the texting - try ringing them instead !!! xxxxx

friends get busy and probably figure they will talk to you soon any way..boyfriends might not really be into you,because if a guy is in love he will stop whatever he is doing to answer you hoping you will text him back soon.a message from someone you love is like waiting on a christmas present.

His text message will say:
