This is despite the fact they are friends, he is not a player, he talks (phone, ym, chat etc) for hours on end, says he feels 'content' or 'at peace with her' and tells her everything thats happening in his life...but still wont be interested in anything 'serious'. But wants her really really badly (and she wants him too but is confused).He is single.

my boyfriend said that he loves me and is falling in love with me well i really really like him but im trying not to fall in love with him because he is in the army and very soon might be going overseas and i am a very soft hearted person and already had my heart broken before and i dont want it to happen again when he go overseas because i dont think i can handle it what should i do

I used to think that If you had developed a rapport with someone, based upon many intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects, and that if therein existed loyalty, truth, happiness & respect.. that two people could always be friends, no matter what life threw at either or both of them. Is this naive?

Are the troubles of the world just too much for friendship to handle? Why are so many people wishy washy (ambivalent)? Have they all just gotten raw deals & feel they must take it out on those they love the most, because they feel "safe" somehow?

I'm still convinced that there are good people out there. But which rock are they hiding under?

I think i like this girl but everytime i think of her i get this really bad pain in my chest?

i always think of her and i fill like i would destroy anyone who would try to hurt her

I was having the most romantic relationship of my life until today. Bu today, I had to break up with my boyfriend. I've learnt that he also has another relationship. Still, he was not expecting me dump him so suddenly. And he told me that he doesn't wanna break up with me, he cannot stand not seeing me, he almost begged. But he also did not say that he is ready to leave the other one. Do you think there is a chance that he may break up with her and come to me?? this guy has been in contact with me for over a year. even when i was in my past serious relationship.

we have only kissed eachother.

he always texts me when hes out in town and i do the same. nothing is planned. if we are not out we always say so.

i was out in town this weekend and i text him to see if he was out. he didnt reply. this has happened before.

once we have met up, i dont hear from him for a while and he ignores my texts. i then dont text him anymore and he comes back texting me again as normal.

what does this mean???

i really like this guy.

he is 29 and single.

Currently live in Mich.want to relocate w/family, 2 young boys (3 and 6mos). to a family friendly, warmer climate, and better work economy. I'm a part time RN, husband is a journeyman carpenter. Looking @ the Carolinas or Florida or even any other suggestions.

I will be leaving to starting my career in 2007 which means i may have to leave everyone behind.... for good. i will have to travel to certain regions and this may take many years to build up to.

I'll hate being alone, i'm very close to my friends and family. but i want to make something of myself too, even if it means starting all over again.

Part of me is excited yet doubtful.

is normal for a couple to talk on the phone when they are in different states for winter break?

i.e. I haven't talked to my boyfriend since Saturday morning (this is the longest we've gone without talking because we've never been apart). Is it weird that he hasn't called? (btw, he mentioned he's not much of a phone-talker).
