I will be leaving to starting my career in 2007 which means i may have to leave everyone behind.... for good. i will have to travel to certain regions and this may take many years to build up to.

I'll hate being alone, i'm very close to my friends and family. but i want to make something of myself too, even if it means starting all over again.

Part of me is excited yet doubtful.

Its inevitable that its always painful to part with your loved ones even for a short period of time. I would suggest you get hold of all their contact details and connect with them once you've settled down. Occassionally, you can always invite them to visit you and vice-versa. Do remember that nothing beats being at home thus you will have to be disciplined enough to initiate the connect. Living alone especially during the big festivals can be painful and lonely. When you arrived at your destination, connect with the Consular/embassy there and connect with some local friends who may be able to assist you in settling down and eventually keep you company.

don't worry. You'll be fine. After all, you had to start out alone to make the friends that you have now. Change is a little scary but it really isn't that scary at all. You won't be alone, there will be people that you will get to know and maybe make some friends and make more memories. I hope that helped. Good luck! Your not alone.
